These highlights are a bit of an unfair take on Amy, I think the stress and Selina’s incompetent narcissism made her behaviours worse. At the very beginning she’s calm and collected but as time passes she looks every inch the (probably prescribed) drug addict to keep her energy levels up. See had ambition and personal jealousies of Dan as well of course, making her do some pretty nasty things, there’s no denying that.

I actually don’t think Amy is a terrible person…she’s not as manipulative as Dan or as overwhelmingly greasy as Jonah or Selina. She’s mostly just abrasive and shrill, as the show often reminds us. There are times when I actually felt bad for her…like Dan shutting her down to sleep with her sister or Selina steamrolling a halfway decent idea.
