The items were paid for at the asking price of the charity shop, that transaction contributes to the charity shop. What someone does with the items they have rightly bought is entirely their decision. There is no loss and it is a win for both parties. Charity shops also have certain allowances due to the nature of the business which assists their profit margin, as an example, low overhead costs. At least be sure that you also contribute as much as you believe someone else may not. People don't share everything they do, do not draw a conclusion that they do not contribute already nor should you be advising where their money should be going. @ ahah 25p for the controller, , if you buy something for 50p and sell it for £1.00 you made a 100% profit margin. So actually probably works out to be more right, £20 divided by 50p = 40 - the original 50p brings it down to 39 so there’s 39 50p I made profit lol

That's absolutely true and does tend to work for some people. For me the writing the goals down has had some positive impact. I have tried the having people hold you accountable, for me that doesn't work unfortunately, I think I need to just work on my self and my goals alone and in silence if you know what I mean! I am taking the same approach for all goals, even the positive ones as you describe!

It's definitely something that could be considered in addition to the single car policy! In Fact, I'm pretty certain in some private sector work companies do offer that as a pre tax benefit, similar to Private Healthcare! I guess what you are suggesting is more a government policy that allows an individual to sacrifice some of their pre-tax income to get passes for public transport in the same vain as pension contributions?

Yes either you will pay this on purchase like with eBay, or sometimes it gets stopped once it arrives in UK and you have to pay to get it released from Royal Mail.
