I was 11 in 1974...it was one year before Donna Summer and Silver Convention but i think the 70's where the Most innovative Years of High Performance Music

Superb! They were far more popular in the UK, Europe and Japan than in the USA. The Three Degrees were famously Prince Charles favourite group and the performed for him on many occasions during the 70s and 80s.

Absolutely amazing. How many girl groups featured 3 lead singers? Each of the girls brought something special to the group. The close harmonies are their signature sound. I was a massive fan of the group in 1975 and yet I have no memory of this special ever being broadcast in the UK. I would've been all over this if it had been shown in my area! I'm wondering if it was only shown in certain regions and not networked?
