I am planning to order a Colibri planner, and was going to choose this cover, but I am going to choose one that has floral all over the cover so it won't show fingerprints like that. That is too bad because it is really pretty. Their covers used to be glossy.

I hear you about the stress of getting presents. Why don't you change to giving experiences instead of presents (my mother has done this for years)? As in, a trip to a science center for the family with grandkids. Or seeing the lights one night in several neighborhoods with the family. Or (if you really want to spend money) a special trip to the movies for the family. And, if you really want to give gifts in the end, a funny shirt for everyone ($25 max per shirt). We give our kids (they're 12 and 16) money that they save and spend throughout the year (about $100 each) and a shirt. In their stockings, we give them candy and treats like chocolate/chips and a cheap, small silly toy. But mostly, we spend time together in December and play games. We're not rich by any means. We live off of my disability and food stamps. And this is what we do for Christmas. I hope this Christmas you find peace.
