Wonderful history! Thank you both 👍🎄❤
First visit for this new subscriber, but won't be my last . Thank you so much for honoring my brother & sister fallen. Three. veteran household, uprooted from our mountains to the canyons of the Wild, Wild West. God bless you and yours!
Thank you so much. We always try to remember the veterans because we owe them so much.
Getting to this late. Yes looks like some serious erosion in that cemetery. Thanks for this video.
Saw four cousins in those two cemeteries, cousin Robin. Thank you so much for sharing, and G-d bless you and yours! ❤
Glad we could help. Thanks for watching.
@@roberthand6436 oh wow! That’s so awesome!!!
While I don't have family here, I lived in Gatlinburg for many years and knew a lot of these family's descendants... very interesting history! Thank you both... Merry Christmas ❤️🎄🎀
Thank you Kathy! Hope you have a very blessed Christmas🥰
Thanks Robin for hard work you put in making this video. Yes I recognize Sophie Campbell's picture from Appalachian history UA-camrs including Donnie's channel. Also Dolly Parton's best lifelong best friend is Judy Ogle. It seems like in your video Ogle was a very prominent family in the Gatlinburg area. Maybe some of Judy's ancestors
Yeah! When I hear that name it reminds me of the ogles water park
There are some very nitable and loved people there at rest. Outstanding Historical video.
Yes they all are. So much history there and we just touched on a small portion
Thanks for watching
Very interesting
Thank you!!
Thank you so much
This is satire right?
It actually works 🤷🏼♀️
@ Finding a grave in a graveyard is hardly evidence. Besides it’s the Ideopathic motor response that makes Dowsing rods work.
@ I assumed because they was used by the old timers to find water is why it works on graves because they are filled with water
If you are thinking we are making them move you’re so wrong. Try it yourself.
@ You are subconsciously moving it, decade’s worth of studies have shown this.
Trying to find a grave of my great great grand father in hurst cemetery middlesboro ky bell county. Henry a sanders oct 25 1869 to dec 14 1848 looked for his grave and just can not find it does any one have a map of the graves or know how to find him thank you. Tony goins
@@tonygoins7446 I found him on the website. I will be going there next week hopefully and will look for him. My in-laws are also buried there.
@ if you only knew how much that would mean to me I will be down in January 25 I am in Michigan and not in the best of health and he and my grandmother are the last ones that I have been trying to to find and I want to pay my respects while I still can. I have been told so many stories of him when I was a child from my grandmother. Thank you
I am in Michigan and it is so nice to see some of my family markers
Lots of history here! Thanks Robin.. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Happy Thanksgiving to you as well
Thanks for the video. As well as the Cullen cemetery you so kindly done for me you have found the England family which also are ancestors ❤
Thank you for the kind words Sir Sidley
I'm one in the administrators of Old Tennessee on FB. Love this and appreciate the share!
Glad you liked it
Thanks Robin for the in depth look of this Smokey Mountain family cemetery. Very interesting that one soldier served in both the Union and Confederate armies. I'm glad that their family saw fit to replace the hand carved stones with new ones.
Thanks for watching
A lot of older graves and so many children...😕 Thanks Robin...and thanks for subbing my channel 👍❤
Thank you for another cemetery tour, I look at them as lost relative hunting. It always saddens me on the child and soldier deaths though. Take care and God bless!
@@TheWabbit that’s right! It is lost relative hunting. Thanks so much!!🥰
Very exciting for me as I have Broyles ancestors from that area who married Gann's. I didn't immediately recognize my specific line from my memory but will get out that section of my genealogy and check it out closer. Ty so much for doing these videos. Greatly appreciated🤗
Oh I so hope you find a connection. It’s so excited when I do!!!
Thank you for watching

@@gregdaniels8938Love this channel. Have missed a few recently but I'll catch up😉😁
Spanish flu and other such viruses took a great toll on the young in early times. Great Video on the remembrance of these people.
Thank you for this historic video of this area.
Thx Clifford 🥰
I enjoyed the video. Thank you Robin & Greg.
Thx Janet🥰
Thanks for watching
Thank You. I know of Two other Headrick Cemeteries. Thanks to your research I now know of three family cemeteries. Thanks
It's wonderful to give our respect for the people from our past...and heartbreaking to see so many children who died so young. Thank you both 👍❤
As long as we remember them and keep their names going they’re not forgotten. And we’re glad you liked it
Thanks Robin and Greg for the history lesson. I had no idea that the Spanish flu took that many lives😮Too many baby and children graves in this cemetery. Soo Sad 😥
That number was shocking. Thanks for watching
So many kids in what seems the same family. How sad. Thanks for the video, the birth and death of multiple people can show a story that's untold. I hope you guys are doing well! Take care and God bless!
@@TheWabbit thank you so much 🥰. It is so sad thinking of how the parents were just hopeless at that point. 🥲
May each & every soul mentioned rest in Peace. God bless all. 🙏

Thanks so much. Wish I could just get up there to really discover.
John Adair is my 4th cousin, 7x removed on my mother's side. Thanks for showing this.
You are more than welcome and glad you enjoyed it
It sure is a huge cemetery and it has some beautiful stones ❤
Thanks so much for sharing, cousin Robin! John Adair is my 9th cousin, 8 times removed, so I very much enjoyed seeing his grave. I hope you and your mom are both doing well, dear cousin, and please say "hi" to cousin Donnie for me. I wish all of you Shabbat Shalom and G-d's richest blessings! Please pray Psalm 122:6.
Thank you so much!! We are doing good hope you as well! That’s awesome you’re kind to the Adair guy!!!
Great job on these historic people and there times. History needs to be remembered and learned from.
Amen about the history. Glad you liked it

Thank you so much!!!
Hey Robin and Greg I enjoyed the chat and thank you for inviting me into your home. Its so nice to get to know y'all better. So sorry about Daisy's condition she seems to be a sweet ole soul. Now I know the reason why y'all have cut back on the on site videos. I thought it was because that your mom might be ill and needing more of your attention. She's still living with y'all isn't she? God Bless Y'all ❣️
Hey Cheryl! Yes my mom was very sick a few months ago but is better now thank the good Lord! She is 84 but still doesn’t like to be left alone for long periods
@@denane44 Yes Praise the Lord 🙌 I can relate my mom lived with us until she was 92. Then she needed more care than we could provide so I had to put her in a home. She went home to be with the Lord just a month shy of her 96th birthday.
I appreciate the respect you show in your videos, i haven't found any relatives yet in your videos, but each of my grandfathers back to 1760 in Bedford, Va, had between 11 and 19 children! Odds are that you're going to run across a cousin of mine sooner or later. I'd never heard of that ailment. Thank you for the dedication of caring. Take care, be safe, and God Bless!
Thank you so much.!!! Hopefully I will find a family member for you🥰
Have yall used find a grave app to find cemeteries . We often use it to find old forgotten cemetery

Hey y'all, from over in Morgan County. There are so many small \ family cemeteries out this way like you were talking about. I am actually surprised how many show on google maps and other searchable places. I have even seen a gravestone or 2 in a persons yard. Take care.
I will keep that in mind for sure. I want to spend a few days just driving around to find them. As soon as I can!!!
Pretty view around this cemetery. Sorry that you've been sick Robin🤢. Praying that you're feeling better soon 🙏
Thank you for the prayers and for watching. God Bless.
