Stock cuz it’s small. I had a 5 speed 2 seater short bed step side s10 with a 2.3L and I still broke stuff in the rear axle trying to launch it. Big truck gets big powerful engine, this is purely a slightly beefed up rwd economy car with a bed. I would absolutely love this truck right now my friend. Its exterior is in better shape than anyone looking for one of these could ask for

The engine is based off the same engines found in evos and DSM cars. Can reliably handle like 300+ horsepower before you run into any issues, and really then it's just the flex in the transmission which can be solved with a billet transmission pan. Ive even heard you can run like 12lbs of boost with touching the ecu

I've always wanted to modify mine but it's also neat to keep it as close to new from the factory as possible

My 88 macro cab is blacked out stock motor sitting on factory rims lowered 2 inches..j love it..I'll never sell it..completely rebuilt zero miles on motor 2 yrs ago .new a/c system .new exhaust...it's absolutely perfect

Any motor work done? If so, where did you get your parts, grandma has a 94 and needs a rebuild at 244000 miles

I’d take out that bed liner, lower it about two inches, smoke tint the windows, and freshen all the black accents. Basically stock with a few small touches.

1980-2000 were Mitsubishi "golden age" heyday years. from their sports car models of the 3000gt & the eclipses, to the pickup trucks like the mighty max, & to the sedans of lancer Evo & Galants. sadly modern day Mitsubishi (post 2012) is not that great compared to 1980-2000 Mitsubishi...

I suggest modifying it if you like, either you keep the truck stock for the next person to enjoy or you enjoy the truck
