Fett, fetter, am fettesten
Das ist einerseits hart aber auch tiefgründig. In der DDR kannten die sowas wirklich nicht. Der Drehbuch - Schreiber hatte sich schon so seine Gedanken gemacht
Is the band's name taken from the spray painted question on the quarter panel of the punks' car in the return of the living dead?

First of all, the track name 'Sputnik' does not have the letter 'c' in it. Also the band should be Roky Erickson and the Aliens. The Aliens was the first new different band with Roky after the earlier years when he had recorded with 13th Floor Elevators in the late 1960s and sang You're Gonna Miss Me on the Dick Clark show in 1966 with that crazy electric jug player. Roky was locked up in a maximum security insane asylum and given electroshock therapy from 1969-1972 because he got arrested for a match box of weed and then stated in court that he was in fact an alien from another planet and had this notarized and also said he did over 300 hits of acid...and he was in a minimum security mental facility but his band mate and girlfriend broke him out so many times that he was sadly sent to Rusk. this is in the book Openers II. there's also concert footage of Roky playing at Rusk on one of my videos, a music video I edited out the footage from a film I discovered called Meeting With an Alien, filmed by his mother Evelyn Erickson who says in there that "schizophrenia is a term used to describe a broad range of behavioral patterns" Roky had a couple other bands as well, the Explosives, and Blieb Alien from 1975-1982 who were compiled on the Gremlins Have Pictures album and other releases. The album should correctly be labeled as Disc 2 of The Evil One (Plus One) released 2002 with all the rough live cuts shared on a radio program in California in 1979. I recommend you check out the much cleaner and louder studio version from Disc 1 of the same album or the other two older LPs. The original 1981 album was produced by Creedence Clearwater Revival bass guitarist Stu Cook, who plays the bass on the original album version of the song Sputnik!! not sure 100% yet whether Stu is playing the bass on this rough live cut or not, but so far I think it is...!! I can sympathize with the confusing discography stuff since I have some Roky albums in my music library that appear to be labeled incorrectly... I was about to go into a tangent saying it was from the Gremlins Have pictures album, since my computer is saying that, but I quickly realized that would be wrong after I cross checked wikipedia and discogs, I am now more certain Sputnik was on the 1981 album The Evil One. The Evil One is Roger Kynard aka "Roky" Erickson's first debut album apart from 13th Floor Elevators. This was after he got released from Rusk maximum security mental facility having had electroshock therapy and been in a band in there with people who killed their parents and siblings, and where Roky would go through a profound change where he scratched out all his older lyrics about Jesus and Love and replaced them with lyrics about Satan and demons. He evolved from being previously the godfather of psychedelic rock music to now being also the father of horror rock music with songs about zombies and vampires. Per wikipedia: The Evil One is a 1981 debut album by American psychedelic rock singer Roky Erickson with his band the Aliens, after his time with the band 13th Floor Elevators. The songs were recorded in 1979 with producer Stu Cook, former bass player of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Some material from those sessions was also released on the 1980 CBS UK album Roky Erickson and the Aliens. (factual error there...if you scroll down, it shows the track is not listed in that 1980 CBS album released in the UK.. cross checked with discogs and nope! it was not until the 1981 album release in California on the indy 415 Records label the track made it into the LP, and released again as a combination with all the tracks in 1987 ! OK I'll adjust that tiny error in wikipedia... and done! hehe) ,Cook played bass on two tracks, "Sputnik" and "Bloody Hammer." The album was re-released on April 16, 2002 by Austin, Texas record label Sympathy for the Record Industry as a double-CD titled The Evil One (Plus One). The second disc is made up of a 48-minute appearance from August 20, 1979 on California radio station KSJO's The Modern Humans Show, on which Erickson plays rough mixes from the album and talks about music and horror films.[1] The CBS album was also reissued under the title I Think of Demons by Edsel Records. minor footnote: it is possible they never heard the song Sputnik in the UK until many years later, possibly long after the '80s were over...it might have been harder to find and get the albums from the smaller independent record labels in California. in fact, there were a couple other song listings for Sputnik (disambiguation) on wikipedia, and I added an entry for Roky Erickson and The Aliens 1980* (*1981 for first instance of actual release of 'Sputnik', or *1987 or *2002 LPs with the song included) album [[The Evil One]]
