The points made by Dr. Marty Makary sound similar to those of RFK Jr. Are there areas where Dr. Marty definitely DISAGREES with him on? Would have liked to have heard what specifically might be increasing Pancreatic cancers (2x in 20 years)? I understand the food pyramid over-emphasized Dairy and Carbs, and didn't distinction to protein types (fish, meat, beans).. but what are Dr. Marty's thoughts on the USDA's fat/oil and cholesterol guidelines. Would love to see Dr. Marty have a friendly Covid talk on Making Sense with Sam Harris. Sam suggests that the time to question authority is not during the crisis itself, and that public needs to follow the experts / established institutions for vaccine, masks, school closures, origin story, etc. How does Dr. Marty reconcile this? BTW, Vivek Ramaswamy suggests that government agencies start with the good intentions, but end up growing beyond that scope once their original mission is complete.

These “school choice” vouchers and advocates are a large part of why the public school system is so massively underfunded!
