Had that girl in the back
Good! keep it up
SICK! Crushed it man. Super groovy.
Nice! Where’s is this? I want to go hear more. Thanks!
TIME Restaurant in Philly! One of the main breeding grounds for modern jazz/fusion in the city
Wow! Cool man. Thanks for getting back to me. I’m actually pretty nearby. Are you guys on the bill this Saturday night (or sometimes soon)? What name are you guys billed as?
@@caseykittelwe are the wudshed! We host the Monday night jam at time once in a while. You can find us on instagram and streaming services as @thewudshed
You killed it dude
Very cool device. David Goldflies, I presume.
ensamblan un toque lo muchacho'
My partner and I came all the way from New Jersey to see this show, the only band we knew were Dan Brooks and the Dirty Crooks. We were absolutely blown away that night and your drum playing was a HUGE part of it! I was front row and cheering the whole time. Best house show I've been to HANDS DOWN.
That was clean as hell
the warm up is 8 on a hand right?
Dudes. The masks. Get over it. Please 🙏🏻
Masks stop people from getting sick - something that loses touring musicians thousands of dollars and can be the difference between profit and huge loss. I don't see how people choosing to wear something to protect themselves should cause you any issue.
@@callumpassells67 because they’re proven to be pointless. They look ridiculous, they stop people communicating the way they have for millennia and I just think it makes people look like total dweebs.
Damn those are some clean rolls!
awesome performance... wearing masks while playing tho seriously... so stupid.
It’s the modern day version of the 2010 jazz scarf. It’s purpose is to signal to the audience that you’re a beta
@@onalyd lol
Masks absorb bacteria and they don’t work anyway but since Keith wasn’t wearing one the music sounded better
Awesome 👍
I wish...
Nice
You rock
this is awesome, great job man
am i the only one who thought it was a banana on the drum when the video began
This was in recommend, keep it up
Man I remember seeing you at Fusion Core camp in 2018ish and nice to see you've improved A LOT. Keep at it
Thank you! It's been a wild ride with lot of ups and downs, but the grind never stopped, and it's not going to.
your average shit box driver XD not hating on the drumming tho keep up the good work
Epic!
Fuck the haters
What kind of drums are they they sound freaking awesome
Tama Starclassic Performer Birch/Walnut. Tama used to make a Birch/Bubinga one, but they stopped producing it once Bubinga was declared an "endangered" resource. Tama replaced it with the Birch/Walnut you see here. It sounds amazing, but in my opinion, the B/B sounds even better. It has low end which the B/W doesn't.
@@Timbales1979thanks they sound better than my Ludwigs
I NEED the fill at 0:18
the creators of spongebob actually sampled this video to create the mr krabs walking sound
Amazing brother 👍🏾
Just…”stop”
Pure Shit of freestyle 7!!!!
Oh yeeeeaaaaaaarrrrrrrr !
As a drummer of over 35 years you have some nice chops but it's more important to work on groove timing and consistency. I could hear where you were kind of fluffing and falling off the meter a little bit and yes I know you're just riffing but remember one thing bro you'll never get a gig because of your drum licks unless it's Dream Theater and people don't dance to drum fills.
I agree, he's playing some really great stuff it just seems like the fills don't belong with the groove and it ends up finishing the groove on beat one instead of four which then moves the groove to be a whole beat off and different tempo. he's got some MEAN sounding drums though.
You sound great man :)
Do you have instagram?
Wow!!!😮
Yo can we get a transcription ✨✨
Give them toms some tone boy might as well he playing on buckets
this was sickkkkkkkkkkkkk
tukutu ta tktutktu yrrru ya
i dont know why people do that marching grip when that grip was used for old snares, which were carried with slings and the drum was slanted so you had to use that grip, but modern snares have harnesses that have the snare straight
Because it looks cool
Hey Dan wot a great sounding kit, would love to know what it is, also what's the snare drum n symbals. Keep up the good work
I second that. Although I'm close to sure that's a Tama Birch/Walnut kit. Still would like to know what cymbals those are though.
Just dampen and kill all the tone, the kit sounds aweful bit great playing
That floor tom sounds beautiful
No!!!!!! Don't stop
Damn good job kid!!
in my recommended. keep it up brother 🙌
Great job! I support your channel! 👊🥁🤟
