@theaspect4507 name me the last Battlefield after 4 that's been good. BF1 further streamlined mechanics and inadvertently made balance worse. I can never take Hardline seriously as it's just another reskin job BF4 was. V is trash, and we know why it's trash: clashing of mechanics and ideas on top of mid base game maps. 2042 was an atrocity. It's time to fix the problems with what's available. BF4 is far from the best game ever made, but it's the last surviving decent Battlefield.

@SuntJack there's so much shit wrong with 2042 that's not unique to just this game. This game decided to ditch persistent servers and opted for servers that get shut off at the end of a match so that people would be displaced into random lobbies. Everyone hates bots, everyone hates this artificial match making system, and everyone hates how this is the norm these days. This model is unsustainable for the long term as you have to pray, without a server browser, that you won't be migrated into a nearly empty lobby. Never mind how disorganized optics are, like every game now, but the plus system is just another cheese system that ruins balance. Extended mags, things to annoy choppers, and underbarrel attachments for snipers just ruin the identity of every weapon class. Vehicles, for some reason, shared every weapon such as the minigun turret, 40mm, 30mm, tow missiles, and so on. Vehicle balance is even worse than BF4. I'd take LAV and attack chopper abuse any day over how 2042 plays. Portal was a throwaway mode that died due to the community and Dice's leniency on community tools. None of the major issues that plagued matchmaking, balance, and vehicles were solved at their root. This is another game with bad maps, and the design philosophy of making things pretty has infected even BF4, and the community seems to have treated the remakes like a joke since not much has changed. I'm referring to what everyone's referred to: streamlining and legacy issues. The vehicle spawn system that came with BF1 still infects the game and annoys both chopper and jet players as they now have to ration who gets to fly what again.

BF 2042 was a mess at launch more than every BF before it, played allot of BF4 but after 800 hours in 2042 I can't get back to BF4 it feels clunky, it still has it's downsides and frankly I would rather waste 40 minutes in a random conquest match. I still have hopes that they will listen to players and the next one will ditch those freakin annoying characters, maybe let us customize our own, and bring back the levolution.

BF3 is the best, but, he has problems with suppression and the lack of colors is precisely something to try to create a greater sense of strategy (because in games with low visibility, you usually have to play more strategically, as you won't always be able to see your enemies) and have a better cinematic atmosphere, they were still learning how to do this in Battlefield 3/4, Battlefield 1, they actually started to learn how to do cinematic scenes/lighting without having to try to create contrast with black and white all the time, but it was an extremely more tactical game than BF3 and 4, but it had incredible artistic direction...Battlefield 4 has really good graphics and atmosphere in the campaign, but in multiplayer it doesn't work so well, the black and white contrast with saturated colors made the campaign of this game look like a kind of cyberpunk in night scenes, it was something extremely exaggerated for what the game was supposed to be...Battlefield 3 did this well, not so much, but it did it, the campaign has incredible lighting and a lot of contrast, but this was not passed on to multiplayer, which was a positive point.

It is sometimes hard to see enemy because of camos! And bullet registration is SOMETIMES bad. Rarely. Only on 30Hz servers. And Black Ops 6 copied BF4 glitch movement :)

It’s probably really early stages of the mods right now, hosting custom servers with mods is basically brand new for BF4 so I’m excited to see where this can take us
