Artists should not worry about AI! Yet!
I discuss my opinion on AI after the revelation of Sora, which personally I believe is being used to perpetuate an idea that artists are replaceable when in fact without the Artists, AI art will not and will never stand a chance to exist on its own. AI art will pose a danger to artists if it is purposefully designed to replace rather than aid but this could come with a decrease in quality.

stupid question but is there any way to make the grooves deeper? With no amount of tweaking can i get the actual plate height to look a bit more extreme. I know it is just an illusion done on a 2D plane but is it possible to still make the plates look like they are sticking out a bit more since my current borders look like lines
Sorry for the late reply. I think you can make them bigger but it requires to have cycles on not eevee. Go into the material tab and go into the settings>surface and then change the displacement to displacement only. I think you then need to subdivide the object. Sorry if I’m wrong but I hope this helps

for me when setting the opacity nothing changes, except when i go below 0.3 and then the material immediately disappears

Is there a way to copy and paste text from google translate for like a different language
When you use google translate there is a copy button that you can click and when in blender. Use control v to paste it in. I hope this helps, also apologies for the really late reply

I think AI is great as a tool. Much how developers of scripts or codes may use it to point out errors, or find a more efficient way of running the script. However AI will never be able to match the creativity of the human mind. As in most cases it uses concepts and tools already made available. Plus with the laws already being made about limitations on AI capabilities it's safe to say that it shouldn't endanger creative roles.
Thanks for the input mate, I'm super excited to see where and how AI is implemented in the future.

My text has huge gaps in it, which I tried to fix by deleting the spaces there (that I found out did not exist), changing the word spacing, and the text box settings in that order. I noticed that this was present in the video at first, but the problem was gone after a bit. Do you remember how you fixed that problem?
Make sure the character and word spacing is still set to 1, the Horizontal is set to Justify and top baseline for the vertical. If all the values are correct make sure you are not using really long words as it can force it to appear on the next line as there is not enough space. I hope this helps.

For the newer Blender Version 4.0 turn down the "randomness" to 0 in the Voronoi Texture.

I have a problem, maybe you could help? I have a .obj file imported but it appears as a single mesh. It has the green triangle and looks linked and all the objects are under the collection, but I can't see them. I have tried unlinking, unparenting, but nothing works. I just want to be able to select the separate parts so I can add a color to them.
The only thing I can suggest is if you go to my newest video on this as it might help more as I go into a bit more detail. The title is 'How to join and unjoin objects | blender'

Sorry, it's an old video. I will work towards getting an updated version out soon. I took the model back into blender and made sure to recalculate the normals on the outside as transparency often occurs because the normals of the faces appear on the inside. I hope this helps and apologies

It is just disappearing for me when I lower the opacity
Opacity is just simply how see through an object is so if you make it to low it will be like the object does not exist. Make sure that you add scratches and Grunge to the texture as it can help sell the look as if you've ever got close enough to glass in real life there is always going to be small imperfections
