is it okay to install the sawtooth hanger on the frame at the top as opposed to on the backing board? Thank you
I think I would need to see a photo to really understand your question, Sarah. I do see this comment was made 6 months ago I apologize for just now seeing it. If you are thinking about putting 1 saw tooth hook in the middle instead of 2 on each side that will "work" for smaller frames or plaques yes.

Those pictures look relatively light. Why not just use nails - or at least mention the weight! Anchors are usually not necessary for something very light-weight.
Hey there these were not light weight. I believe they were about 2 pounds each, I actually don't have them up anymore due to renovations at our office but I could bring them in to weigh tomorrow to get an exact measurement for you.

Thanks a lot. I bought a fairly large mirror with such a hanger and was hesitant. I am still a tad hesitant, wondering if I should use two screws for more solidity... Opinions welcome!
