I think initially Dallas has upgraded due to Luka and Kyrie sort of cancelling one another out by both playing guard and AD is a Big who can produce right away... But long term I think Luka and Lively were the future pillars to build around... So I dont think the slim short term new advantages with AD arent enough to justify the future Luka/Lively tandem...

People who thinks the Mavs have a shot at a title are idiots. Their offense ran through Luka they won't adjust this year and next year Kai and AD will have a full season to get injured or get away from this traitor.

I think they don't understand what kind of backlash from the fans they will get. This trade will turn out disastrous, Nico will get fired next year, and the Mavs will go in rebuild mode. Luka was taking so much load offensively, I don't think Kyrie can take enough load at this point in his career. They won't win now, and I doubt AD stays healthy.
