Dreamcast Preservation Project
Приєднався 14 гру 2013
This is not a speedrun channel. This is not a long play channel. This is a channel devoted to SEGA Dreamcast. We have the rare opportunity to have access to all original PAL games and more than a few US and JAP games. So all videos are captured from an original Dreamcast console playing original games and not an emulator.
We intend to catalogue all our games here on UA-cam as a reference for you. Note that all games are played on an original console.
We do not monetize our videos. All copyrights belong to their respective owner. We only want to entertain and educate.
Please note. Due to copyright strikes we will NOT cover games based on copyright sensitive source material (like Disney-movies etc).

The Last Blade 2 - Heart of the Samurai (Dreamcast) (US)
On the 25th of November in 1998 "The Last Blade 2 - Heart of the Samurai" was released in Japanese arcades with the grandiose title "Bakumatsu Rouman Dainimaku: Gekka no Kenshi - Tsuki ni Saku Hana, Chiri Yuku Hana". The game was developed and published by SNK.
The following year "The Last Blade 2" saw a home console release on Neo Geo and Neo Geo CD. The Neo Geo CD version includes an extra mode, voiced cutscenes, and a gallery section. Most of these features were included in the Dreamcast port that was released in December of 2000 and August of 2001 in North America. "The Last Blade 2" never saw a release in the EU.
For almost 12 years Dreamcast was the only console to see a port of "The Last Blade 2" (not counting the Neo Geo Pocket Color conversion "The Last Blade - Beyond the Destiny") until it was ported to Wii Virtual Console. Yet another 4 years later it was ported and released to PS4 and PS Vita. At the time of writing, you can still buy the game on PSN.
"The Last Blade 2" recreates 1864 Japan in all its feudal glory. Players are pitched into 1-on-1 matches against 16 characters (and four hidden ones) in a quest to bring honor to their master's clan. Each character wields a unique weapon and has a set of equal unique attacks.
All characters can also be tweaked (a little bit) to better fit your playing style. You can choose either POWER that will make you stronger. SPEED makes movement more quick and technical and EX is a combination of the previous two.
"The Last Blade 2" is a true product of SNK 90s with unique characters, beautiful graphics and kind of deep gameplay - both control and story. While we are really bad at fighting games and find it hard to enjoy getting our butts handed to us over and over - We have seen more than a few reviewers and fighting-game-lovers pick this game as a hidden gem.
So if you are into fighting games, you might want to give this one a chance.

The game saw releases on Dreamcast, PlayStation 1 & 2, N64 and GameBoy Color. However. The games weren't exactly the same between platforms. For example the N64 version had Breaststroke and the PS version had 50m Freestyle swimming, while these events aren´t a...

F355 Challenge: Passione Rossa (Dreamcast)
Переглядів 13 тис.9 років тому
Just like many other Dreamcast games started F355 Challenge: Passione Rossa out as an arcade game. And it's not just any arcade game either, F355 Challenge is considered to be one of the best racing arcade cabinets of the late 90s. In fact, you can still find the three-screen F355 Challenge cabinets in some arcade halls. But it's not that strange that F355 Challenge is such a great game when it...
Caesars Palace 2000 (Dreamcast)

In september of 1999, the online publication IGN had a conversation with game publisher Interplay where Interplay first mentioned that they are working on a game that "will be one of the most realistic portrayals of the casino atmosphere ever". Caesars Palace 2000, released almost a year later, was this game. Is it "the most realistic" casino game? Hardly. But it features blackjack, roulette, c...

1:47:54 Nightmare Fuel
You're not good at this, are you?
I don't know what it was about it, but I couldn't stand the announcer's tone.
We need a remaster for the new consoles
That opening cinematic is so freakin cool.
I had N64 so it was courtside all day. Id put all the best on the Lakers and beat everyone by 50
This game was hard
It was so damn hard.
How the hell is this the same generation at wwe day of reckoning..? That's crazy. This looks nearly identical to the n64/ps1 versions.
So many memories, when i really wanted to be an olympic, athlete
It seems to me, the problem with this game isn't as much the actual controls of the vehicle as it's the layout of the tracks. You can't really get into a "rhythm" with this one, so few straights and too many 90 degrees (or above) turns. It seems this game has been remade/copied, by a Chinese games developer for arcades in China, Vietnam and Thailand.
Best game ahead of its time graphics hasn’t aged yet…
when armored core meets dark souls
The long nights with my friends doing fantasy draft tournaments in my moms basement were great times. Still my favorite console ever.
So amazing graphics
People DO NOT understand how powerful, and, before its time The Dreamcast was. I still own a Sega Dreamcast today.
amazing graphics for the time, looks like a late PS2 game
I got this game with my dream cast and I remember thinking, "Games will never look more realistic than this."
Just imagine how real it will look now on Sega new system when it comes 😭👁️❤️💯..
You were kind of on to something because the. Twenty year leap hasn't produced that much of a difference
The best baseball game ever made. I remember playing it. I bought it at target when I worked there
The loading screen always gave me chills🔥🔥🔥
What's the name of the first track after the WWF signature?
fav weapons in magforce racing: FLASH MINE, LASER BEAM, ION BEAM, THUNDER BOLTS
Original don't have this view
You suk at this game
This was my game during my teenage years, along with Virtua Cop 2, and Shining Force 1 when I played them on the Sega Smash Pack on the Dreamcast, the game is extremely addicting, it’s no Tetris or Puyo Puyo, but I love the game and the title screen music is so funky awesome to listen to, someone should upload it, I want to listen to it.
Sydney 2000 the peak for any Australian.
my friend would come over and play this when we were in highschool in 2002-2003. He killed himself in 2020. Not sure why. He was very popular and liked by everybody. He was good looking and all the girls liked him since we were teens. He had more personality and was more outgoing than me. I remember he told me "If you cut your hair all the girls owuld like you" haha. RIP Nick.
I'm Sorry to hear that. Sometimes it's the people you would least expect. But at least you have those memories with him. Video game memories with high school buddies should be cherished cause most of them you lose contact with.

Your Chanel is amazing
1:21 Sonic:(sees Iván Zamorano on screen, and starts screaming with happiness) It's really him! AHHHHH!
OMG I miss this game!! I played this game for hours and hours on end .. Super addicting ..
Wrong aspect ratio setting Unsubscribed
Shut up Quadraped
Really annoying when video games put the Oakland A's in black cleats...
This game was terrible i couldnt beat the firstly level
Still Better than Baby Mario Sunshit for the gamecube
Wow amazing memories😢
There's no way this game looked like this. It's WAY cleaner looking in my memory
Modern Displays give this weird impression, as they are quite different in technology. On TVs and Monitors of that era, for which the DC was designed, games looked and ran fantastic. I also used a VGA Dreamcast adapter back then, it was unbelievable expensive, but the image on a CRT was quite impressive.
Dónde lo puedo descargar para Android. La verdadera joya de la corona este juego
People hate terrible gameplay. Didn't even rumble once which is the whole point of the game 🙈
It seems that this version is an update to the original arcade version I term of character models
The music drove me crazy
I like how the menu sound design is very reminiscent of the souls games
One of my favourite Dreamcast games!
SO MANY MEMORIES OF PLAYING THIS GAME AT ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS HOUSE ALL WEEKEND DURING SLEEPOVERS!!! WOW, I can’t believe it’s been over 22 YEARS SINCE THEN!!!
Great game but whoever designed the camera control should go to hell.
