Getting Back in Shape at 48 is no Joke! Week 2
Hey everyone! Checking in for week two of my attempt to get back in shape. Let's be honest, turning 48 and having kids… it changes things. My wife's happy my "junk still works," but I know I gotta get my act together if I want to keep up with the little ones. So, I'm putting in the work. This week's video covers my workouts - chest with presses and flys, some modified burpees (those things are no fun), worked the shoulders, and a few other things. I even tell a quick story about this Army Ranger I saw in the gym when I was a skinny kid - totally inspired me to get into fitness. Anyway, I hopped on the scale to see if this whole thing is even paying off. Did I drop any weight? You'll have to watch to find out. I'm also keeping my post-workout meals simple - usually a protein smoothie or whatever my wife throws together. No fancy stuff here. Just trying to stay healthy for my family. Join me on this journey - it's definitely a work in progress!

    Jordan, sounds like your body has adapted to your workout and became stagnant. Switch up your routine. Reverse the order of the exercises that you have listed and increase the weight by 10%. Let me know how you feel. -Venya

    your technique is terrible mate you need full range of movment in your back work out. so u stimulate the muscles to its fullest.
