In this film, watch the whiskered creatures weave through the sparkling waters, their playful antics juxtaposed with the serious business of hunting. (ps I'm not a wildlife photographer so my apologies for the camera movement)

Spectacular Aurora filmed from Seacliff Beach, East Lothian, Scotland, with the Bass Rock in the middle of the shot. I really like the details in this shot: the stars moving slowly and the lighthouses on the Bass and May flickering away. The aurora was a nice touch too.

In the Fall of 2021 along with a group of 14 other intrepid Photographers and Drone Pilots we ventured into the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone for some fun and photography. A week that will live long in our memories! Pripyat (abandoned) and Chernobyl (partially abandoned) are cities in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, situated in northern Ukraine, about 90 kilometres (60 mi) north of Kyiv. The cities we...
Beautiful again. Love this style of music and I can never quite get it right. The aurora was amazing. Still going strong when we left at 02.15. Thanks for sharing
thanks for comment, glad you like it, music is tricky, I sometimes feel like I spend forever trying to find the right piece, this time I was lucky and found it straight away.
@@scottmasterton Oh I thought you wrote your own music?
@@neilbuxtonandmixi no, I licence it from online agencies
An uplifting visual delight Scott 🙂
hey D, glad you were delighted by it 😀
Awesome!
thank you, I'm glad you liked it
Wow, stunning!
thank you, glad you like it
That's a beauty Scott, well done. People just don't realise how many images it takes to produce even a short timelapse. I can't contain myself to be in the one place, usually running all over the place like a kid on a sunday School picnic :) I think I took 333 photos last night, and caught 2 meteors only.... who knew they only flash past in between shots eh?!!
thanks for that, I'm really liking doing the timelapses as I just set the camera going and then sit back and watch the aurora instead of the camera, and the timelapse movies really let people see what is happening, this was 720 images. I know what you mean about the meteors, I was sure I was going to have quite a few in this movie and I don't think there is one.
That's beautiful. Works so well with the music too.
Thank you very much!
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Spectacular. I missed it so very grateful to see this. Absolutely breathtaking
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great capture! Did you know the otters were in the area or was it good fortune and timing?
Sorry I only just saw this, it was pure chance, stopped to look at the scenery and then saw them.
Wow ❤ Blown away, I missed it. Amazing work Scott.
Sorry you missed it, hopefully this gave you a little flavour of what it was like
so pretty - how long did you film over ? the full 2 hours ?
I was out throughout the whole event but this time lapse covers about 30 minutes
Thank you so much! It's wonderful
thank you for the comment, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Looks such a stunning place. Many thanks for sharing.
Stunning!! Lovely to see them frolicking from above ...
Many thanks!
How lucky are you to have captured such beauty 😍 absolutely amazing ❤ Excellent work.
thank you, it was indeed a privilege
Just noticed this. Any investigation held at all? Looks pretty horrendous especially for pollution etc. Too many fires in Scotland over the past few years...unexplained. hmm.
Scott, George from Ontario Canada. This is beautiful! I can’t imagine how thrilled you were to witness this phenomenon digitally. The country side views are breathtaking. Am I mistaken or have they replaced the whalebone arch at the top ? They where just nubs in the dirt when I was up there with my family 15 or so years ago. The timing was right, and I captured an image from the top of a combine taking off a crop of wheat. Something I wouldn’t normally see from an elevated viewpoint. Though North Berwick seems historically to have a lot of Renton’s as in “ Then there hills are full of em’ “ my family for some generations where from Leith. We were staying in Joppa throughout my childhood. As a child I spent as much time traveling with my dad mostly in fish lorries, so the sight of Berwick Law on the horizon was easily recognizable to me and I’d know I was getting close to home. I guess the lorries got in my blood as for the most part I’ve been driving / owning them to this day. 🎼I’ve been everywhere, man. Thank you for sharing your production. Tastefully top shelf if I may say so.
I guess this is what to expect when the sea throws canon balls (large stones) at your (sea) defences. As lesson in early modern warfare.
Needs rebuilt with fibreglass reinforced concrete/cement. Quality footage.
Great footage. Maybe show a normal day for comparison.
Brilliant footage.
I’m a Renton. Been living in Canada since 65. Too bad you didn’t include the rest of Berwick Law in your video, though I understand it’s about the sea wall. Thank you for posting. Spent lots of time with my dad waiting for fishing boats to come into Dunbar when I was wee.
glad you like it George, sorry I didn't get the Law in.... maybe this one will give you a 'law' fix ua-cam.com/video/hYz3T1iSFq4/v-deo.html
It looks like the Mohne Dam in 1943.
nah bro that's poor workmanship on the wall
Is it normal to see here aurora?
We see them fairly regularly but it entirely depends on the activity of the sun, we've had several good displays in the past month, but we can go months without any and of course it's only during the darker winter nights that we see them.
A clear indication of the power of the sea.
Looks like it's around the older and newer sections.
Very glad you don't have audio so the world can't hear my squeaks of excitement watching it all happen!!
I know, right?
Incredible!
thanks James, glad you like it
Wow 😮 could watch this all day 😊

Wow, that was quite a storm. We're just getting over our own storm down here in Sussex. Excellent drone videography, by the way! That's going to be an expensive repair job on the harbour wall.
It certainly was a big storm, I was born and bred here, not really seen anything like it before. Once every 10 years maybe. Glad you like the footage. They are talking roughly a million to repair the whole wall, seems a lot to me!
@@scottmasterton - There might be more to fix than just the visible damage. And it's not just the wall. My understanding of how sea defenses have to be worked on, one of the first things they would have to do is build cofferdams around both sides of the breach and pump the water out -- and keep it pumped out. Then remove all the remnants, including the bits that are still in place but are damaged. It would be quite involved. It ought to be interesting to watch being done, of course, and you'll be able to get a bird's eye view with your drone!
Well done! Was there any damage to MV Sula?
I can't say for certain but I don't think so.
I saw the tourist boats in dry dock at Port Edgar South Queensferry other day. All looked ok.
Scott this is Beautiful. May I ask what Drone you use?
Hi Ben, glad you liked it, I use a Mavic 2 Pro.
Wow. Amazing film.

Great photos and footage.... but boy, the interference/radio sounds on the music really gets annoying
Hi Sarah, thanks for the comments, glad you liked the images but sorry to hear you didn't like the background radiation sound effects, thanks for that feedback.
Awesome - haunting and beautiful at the same time.
thanks for the comment Mike, it is an amaxing place, glad you liked the video
