Awesome info. Thank You!
Wow 🎉 20sec in and can’t believe how f..King much motivation he has. Love it. Why can’t be any teacher like him ? so excited to transfer knowledge.❤❤
This was super helpful. Thank you. I know nothing about it and I managed to build a fireplace hood with this. Granted it wont actually work to be cut out but i made that shape and thats whats important.
New subscriber here. Do you know of any general rules regarding bend radius and relief values? My designs are usually non-metal. Cardboard, styrene, coroplast, etc.
you are so lovely
This was cool!
Thanks, hgron! Glad you enjoyed!
I’m be tried the projection to a sketch with the bend lines about 15 times yet it still won’t work on Send Cut Send. Something has changed in fusion because the drawing doesn’t look anything like yours. Can you refer me to an updated video on how to do this please?
Love positive vibes in this video. Well understood lesson, nice presenter. Really appreciate!
Wahoooooo! I'm glad! Thanks for watching!!
Great Stuff! I noticed that Fusion does not export corner radii properly. Creates a straight line between the end points instead of a curved line. Everything else exported great. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks
Hey nice video would be awesome if you could make a sheet metal rule set video as well. thanks

Omg Thanks a lot brother, This is what I need to create basicly the parts that I need. THANK YOU BUDDY! 🤓👊🏻👏🏻
YOU'RE MOST WELCOME!!!!! Glad it helped!
Thx Mate! that explained soo much for me in only one single drawing.
How do I go from the flat pattern to Manufacture. I want to cut the flat pattern out with my plasma cutter using fusion, but when I go into Manufacture it's not in the flat pattern form. I know I can use the dfx file in sheetcam but I would rather use fusion.
Thank you so much!
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
Great very nice
I wish I had your brain power😄😄
Haw! You flatter! I'm sure you have huge brain power!
Excellent video and channel, you got yourself a new subscriber 👍👍
Haw! Thanks Croz! Really appreciate it! I'll be sure to upload more videos! Thanks for watching!
Super good, thank you.
I've been following along your videos and I'm very new to Fusion and I was wondering if you could make a video on just the basics. Navigating the program, setting up a new project, preferences ect. Thanks
An introductory video, ey? I could do that!
@nemoengineering That'd be awesome! I've been learning inkscape as well, and this video is very in-depth, but it's been very useful. And I was thinking, man if only there was a video like this for Fusion and watching your videos and the way you break things down, I thought what a perfect combination.

i need to know how to decrease some parts on a sheet metal part i designed.
Hello! Do you mean that you need to change the thickness of your sheet metal part?
@@nemoengineering I figured it out. I had to move the flange back some. Thanks for your tutorials.
@@TheGnthreman Good stuff, well done! Thanks for watching!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I'm very glad with this clear Sheet Metal explanation. 👍👍
You're most welcome! Thanks for watching!
So good!!! Best intro
Hey thanks a lot for your no nonsense approach, very easy to understand. Just wish I had seen this a month ago when I was trying to do my first design in fusion, a scaffold made from RHS, but I got there in the end. Thanks again.
Wahoo! Glad it was helpful! Sorry I was late with the video! Happy modelling!
I absolutely loved the intro! 😂 amazing video! Loving the greenscreen! And as always great teaching! 😊
Aaaah! Thank you!! I'm new to the greenscreen; I'll work it out 👍
Good Stuff Good Stuff!! 😂
Ha! Thanks, Brandon!
Is there a quick way to remove chamfer or convert it to a fillet?
Hello! I'm not sure if there's a way to convert, but you can definitely delete the chamfer in a few ways! - If you have the features tree active, find the feature, select and delete it. - If you don't have the features tree (i.e. you just have geometry), you should be able to select all the chamfered faces (holding Shift) and delete them with the delete key. Let me know how you go!
@@nemoengineering Thank you that worked perfectly.
Nice
Thanks!
@@nemoengineering I just started 360. I came from tinkercad.
Great video.👍
Thanks for watching :)!
Your voice is so annoying
Great video! Cheers!
Awesome tutorial!
Haw!! Thank you for watching! Happy modelling!
wow this is bad. how do you take a Rectangular hollow section and unroll it not the super basic easy build it from the ground up. pointless video as it repeats everything
- Late to the party, but @ 9:39, sketch not needed: simply 'Extrude' the face.
- BTW, 'Offset Faces' would be nice (would only require 1 feature, not 2, as w/ 'Extrude') - BUT alas, it drags adjacent faces w/ it. So, that's a no go :(
Hey! Great catch! While Press/Pull or Offset Faces drags the whole chain, extrusion just extends just the target surface. Nice one!
@@nemoengineering - Yes :) - BTW, I never use 'Press Pull'. It's actually not a tool, but a "multi selector": based on geom selection, it picks between 'Extrude', 'Offset Faces', or 'Fillet'. Instead, I simply select the desired tool (via hotkeys). - And, there are some subtle differences / downsides between these workflows. 'Fusion 360 School' UA-camr has 2 nice vids covering this matter.

At the end how did you rotate the mirror frame, I mean what did you press to move it in its place at 23:48?
Hello! No worries, easypeasy! Firstly, I created a revolute joint between the mirror panel and the frame (22:33 to 23:00). This joint allows the pane to rotate about its axis. Once this was created, I click-and-dragged the pane with the left mouse button to move it around. Good luck! Let me know how you go!
Anyone what’s a good way you like to use to mark the fold lines when using cnc plasma ?
Excellent, thank you!
Drawings are kinda important when you are designing parts....... just my opinion
Big thank you from me too. This was my first Fusion 360 tutorial ever and I never felt overwhelmed and left behind. Perfect speed, never a step explanation skipped. Perfect teaching, as I now feel empowered & motivated to learn much more.
Aaah! You've made my whole day! I'm glad you got value from it! Enjoy the 3D modelling; it really is fun if you learn the ropes!
Great tutorial dude! Only issue I have is that the bend lines don't show up when creating the flat pattern, eventhough I used the eye toggle they still do not show. They only show when I hover my mouse over them.
Thanks!! Oh no! That's no good! I was going to suggest toggling the eye! I have a suspicion! Is your visual style set to 'Shaded'? Try changing it to 'Shaded with Edges' (the hotkey for this is Ctrl+6). Let me know how you go!
@@nemoengineering Yes!!! This fixed it!!! Thank you so much!!! I literally spend hours last night trying to figure it out, who would have thought it could be something that easy
@@xIsouLcruSHca AAAAAAAAAH! My pleasure! I find whenever the solution was something silly, I end up remembering it from the frustration! Happy modelling!
Absolutely hate, hate, hate fusion so anything I can learn is a bonus 😂 such a frustrating program!
Haha oh no! Are you used to something else? You can't possibly hate 3D-modelling!
@@nemoengineering yeah so frustrating. Been using design software for many years and these days love eMachineshop and always Tinkercad because it’s so fast and accessible and even my 9 year old can use it for circuit design too. Just cannot understand how it’s made by the same company? So unintuitive in comparison. I’ve been able to create so many complex devices just in Tinkercad then really quickly get them to 3D print, carve from carbon fiber or even plasma cut and weld them up but haven’t had much luck at all producing anything of use in Fusion. I will persist though. I like the way you break it down.
Good to see you back it man! There are many channels that explain fusion but in all honesty the way you deliver these lessons is superior to anything else I’ve seen. And it’s coincidentally always pertinent to what I’m working on at the moment. Great job!
Haaw!! Thank you!! It's great to be back; I feel reinvigorated! I'm glad the videos are of help to you! Thank you so much for watching!
