You have your work cut out for you. Painting everything that awesome Quincy blue.
Just found your channel and Subscribed. Very nice
Super nice 😊😊😊😊😊
What is the gear ratio sir
That's weird how they put the motor on the other side of the pump. If it was the other way around, it would be easier to replace the capacitors in the motor
Kreatif
I'm running a Quincy 390 at 560 RPM with that exact same motor to produce the same amount of air at half the RPM
It's hard to beat that model pump for a residential 50 amp circuit
So get some BLUE PAINT and make everything the same color !
I realize that at the time I respond, This is 5 years old. Would be really great to find your math & learn how to dial in this type of setup. I see that your table is not Universal - but your subhead makes up for it!
Now THAT is what you call a setup! 👍👍

BIG Quincy iron
I used to do this on an Alcock & Shipley in the 80s milling spiral flutes on Taps ,brings back good memories
Thank You. I need to make a scroll. This is how I will do it and other things.
I didn't know that's helical looks like a warm. Takes a lot of skills. Whatever it is.
Nice video. ua-cam.com/channels/m8mQZIpspdf_tT6mNVkX_A.html?sub_confirmation=yes
I remember making an impeller exactly like that in 1968.😄
On of the few operations that most machinists are afraid of - imagine one mistake and its all done. Imagine the setup needed or tools needed to be made to even start.
Congratulations to all scouts. Watched it all and very enjoyable. Thank you Mike for the video.
That machine come off the arc. 😊.
Oou

It took me till 6:30 to figure out the mill table was moving. After I saw you turning one wheel and I saw the other one turning. I'm learning all I can by watching till I get a mill. I like the old stuff too. Thanks for the vid.
I thought I heard me some Johnny Cash.
How long does yours take to build oil pressure after sitting overnight?
that machine sounds like hell.
Nice old school machining before the event of CNC. I've got to do this in a 4 start to make a HOB to cut a new gear.
Saludos desde Caracas venezuela, me ha gustado mucho el arreglo, lo pondre como ejemplo para las practicas de tller en la escuela, muchos exitos y una FELIZ NAVIDAD a Todos
I'd give me left one to learn this skill over ANY computerized CNC skill. This puts thinking back into the process. Computers are just making people dumber and dumber. I dare any of you CNC guys to even attempt to learn this from a book. Think you can do it? Prove it and share your experience through a video. Thanks to this operator for sharing. You are a true master.
You're mostly right. But I do know of one cnc guy who is also old school like us. He's a rare beast.
Does one handle move X and A axis?
this is know how. thanks
Great set up. Can you do an indept video on that dividing head set up pls
nic
*I see u don’t reply to your viewers questions - So I wont even bother...*
Is there a place online that shows how to set up the continuous run on the 350, mine has the feature but doesn't work.
My job milling opretaer
Blue is good in this case.
That mill looks very stout what brand is it
this is how it was done before cnc machines took over
old school old fart ill half to subscribe !!
Is this a screw element for an extruder? Nice setup. Looks like you definitely had to work through this one.
many operator and CNC programmer should learn about this before get a computer or cnc machine.
when I did my fitting machining trade course we did use the dividing head and horizontal mill to manual cut the same way it is not a forgotten skill and is still taught it helps later on with cnc machining
Manuel Contreras the hall set up is shown nice job and good comment
you are genius... The real Engineer
Cinema mudo?
Ok
