I know, what a wild turn around. I thought that we played them better last year so was bracing for a worse year and a Brad Scott coach sacking but with the emergence of Durham, Caldwell, and having player return to form Ridley, Stringer, and with the new acquisitions McKay, Gresh, Duursma, Goldstein, And with Merrett rising to a new level especially with his new ability to beat tags we have just been able to be a pretty decent AFL team. Hopefully we win that final and finish Top 4. I'd take top 6 though would love to go to a home final.

Great Response. Hopefully we can beat the crows because it would be sweet. But before the season I saw our first 7 games and the difficulty in that stretch and said I would be happy with 3-4 record and we got the 3 wins.

In regard to what prediction?

Fair enough but watches that Sydney game and big surprise if you play Harley Reid in the midfield instead of FF your team looks a lot better. So I give them a shot.

Idiots I know rozee didn't do this every time but a few times he would run 30m without bouncing and some of those times that both sides of the players would throw the ball one of them that led straight to a goal was finlayson threw the ball on the right side of the boundary line and someone got a goal I think at the end of the 2nd quarter which killed the game. the 3 goals in 80 seconds at the end of the second we don't do that maybe we put up more fight in the second half. But knowing my Bombers I don't like the chances. But what I don't understand is that we took it up to you both times we played and could've got a draw in the first one if Andrew Phillips kicks a goal from 50 meters and the second one if Darcy Parish puts that goal away from 20m out and doesn't kick a point to put us by 9 I think we win easily. But not discrediting port for that goal just saying that we had chances to win and draw in the final seconds of both games. So did Port get 63 pts better or did the Dons get 63 pts worse? Or was it a bit of both? or did effort just fade and we put it down as just a bad night out? IDK? This Footy club kills me

Yeah, that's a solid point but he hasn't been at that point for a while and there was problems at North when he was running the club. For example why did Jason Horne Francis leave? I love the optimism but I am cautious as to what's to come from the Dons.

@@footyrefined I put JHF in the same position as Jared Polec at the end of 2013, he didnt want to be in QLD, he never wanted to be drafted outside his native state. Lets not also forget that Brad has been the GM of Football for the AFL meaning he has seen every list strategy and gamestyle in the game since he retired from North. This could be very intriguing.

I like the optimism, I'm an Essendon fan myself and am just hoping that you are right.

Why they can't beat the tigers lordy?

I believe that Tigers will win because of what they did to Carlton they destroyed them. Richmond had 75 inside 50s and 20 min in the forward 50 so based off those stats I do not think Tom Stewart will be able to hold Richmond back because Geelong are not the best team defensively.

Carlton got so many injuries specially in their backline and they were robbed with a goal too but still they fought hard but still we see who wins either cats or tigers and if cats were not good enough they shouldn't be in the top four.

Very good point. Steele is back but what if he doesn’t get straight back into it and the other wingers and saints may restrict his game time but saying this I feel that it will be a very competitive game.
