I've played games were it was fine of my end and others where my ping was crazy. I think during my last live stream, I had a game where my ping literally showed over 600. But I did a speed test and the latency was fine. Luckily there's an update coming next week that should help with some of the issues.

Yea Madden doesn't run well at all on the Steam Deck. I've gotten COD to a decent FPS, but you'll have to install Windows on it.

I'm playing from the handheld device. It doesn't have controller support so I'm using USB mouse and keyboard. I'm sure when it releases, the Steam community will create multiple controller layouts for it.

I was using the LCD model. Had to use all low settings to get 25-30fps. I'm assuming the performance is probably better on the Steam Deck OLED and the other handheld devices. Hoping for FSR 3 support when it launches. Maybe I'll be able to get better performance from the LCD Steam Deck

@@elimcclary6466 I can't recommend the LCD model for inZOI. I had to run all low settings just to get a 30fps and it had plenty of dips. If the FPS is that unstable during the character creation then I can only imagine it will be worse during actual gameplay. I will test it again when it releases.

It was a demo that was released on Steam for a little bit. The actual game has been delayed until 2025.

I'm guessing I was getting around 50-60fps. I couldn't get the the overlay to show the FPS. Gameplay was really smooth and I was using all high settings.

@@CallMeMilenkothank you, I’m new to steam deck and it seems a lot of games require you to have windows 11 OS instead of Steam for games to work. Not all but a lot do.

Yea it just depends on what you want to play. I wanted to play my Gamepass stuff without using cloud services. It's pretty easy to install Windows or dual boot the Steam Deck. Mine is dual booted with SteamOS and Windows 11.

Are you using Windows or SteamOS? I got that issue when I tried to run it on Windows from my Steam Deck. Instead, I installed it on SteamOS and using Proton Experimental.
