Making room for grace - Genesis 8:1-9:29 - Mark Thompson
What a wonderful message from these verses in first Timothy chapter 2. I’ve learned from this and enjoyed it very much. My desire would be that we would be given three or four practical ideas how to fulfill this command to pray for “all people.”
Otherwise it's Jesus own jewry of Baptist's that roots must be foundational for XT'nity grows
How to apply for admission from Pakistan?
Moses never existed
he went rogue and changed his name but he did exist according to Manetho
This is where your prayers go, when you say Amen.
Which pyramids were used as burial chambers? That is to say, the valley of the kings were full of them, but the pyramids, not so much
Meta is atem, in reverse.
🎉🎉🎉
But Moses is a mythological figure. Akhenaton was not.
How do you know?
@ Because there is zero peer-reviewed, academically verified archaeological evidence of the existence of Moses or the Exodus. None
@@wordscapes5690 argument from silence. Also very medieval and insular view. Lmao. Name one peer-reviewed academically verified archaeological evidence of the existence of Socrates. I wait. Tag me.
@ Socrates might very well not have existed. I agree with you.
Pwned
The pyramids was not Tombs. Yeah im out.
Great sermon.
Wow, so amazing
Wow, so amazing
Moses wrote down the Law that had come from Adam, Enoch Noah Abraham Isaac and Jacob
It’s possible the Egyptian Moses killed was Thutmose
Ahkenaten died chasing the Hebrews, Tutankhamen was struck down in the 10th plague as one of the royal first born
Ahkenaten died chasing the Hebrews, tut was struck down in the 10th plague as one of the royal first born
Wrong, God stated monotheism
Grace is the foundation, so why do you need to make room for it? Unless, of course...oh, now I get it. you're completely legalistic. I hope you find the true gospel some day. I will pray for you.
The concept of "making room" refers to God purposefully creating the circumstances and time for His grace to reach and transform humanity, rather than simply destroying it in the flood.
The Pharaoh Athnaton/ Akhenaten was poisoned by the priests. Before dying, he made the following statement: ‘The time that I have spent on this Earth was an era in which the simplicity of Truth was not understood and was rejected by many.’
@mollycat1758 Do you have a source for that?

Probably not! Amen 🙏
🎯💯
Great encouragement from the talk which make me realize that God has planned from the beginning that he will send his one and only son to die for us and rescue us from our wickedness and sin. God’s promise never to destroy the world again, despite the fact that man’s heart is evil, is counterintuitive and unjust unless we consider Jesus' death and resurrection. Because with sin, there must be judgement and punishment. Therefore, only by Jesus who is divine and never sin taken up the wrath of God for humankind, God's promises will make sense. Thanks God for his never ending grace toward us so that me and many can be saved!
Amplified Version Matthew 24:1:14 Amen
NKJV Matthew 24:1:14 Amen
Is the flood of Noah a real event or a theological myth?
Real event
One thing that is highly annoying about comments that disagree is if you’re going to say he said something wrong then you need to bring some type of factual evidence other than just your words
@@YoungEli9 they have no factual evidence. They cite religious texts to validate religious texts. Or are so committee to their faith, they won't open their mind anyway. They are not scholars.
Suzanna Maria Emmanuel (Moses,Jesus,Nefertiti…reincarnated) sheds a definitive picture on this topic, and its relevance today.
LOL. Anyone who claims they were a famous historical figure in a past life is a charlatan and anyone who believes them is a fool.
Moses did not introduce monotheism in egypt, and akhenaten did not introduce monotheism. Ramesis ll depicted himself as a living god and built temples where people worshipped him and his wife. He even declared himself most high. Moses introduced the idea that the pharoah was tyrant human and falsely made a forceful claim to be god. You are wrong, and your ideas are weak.
You are wrong. Sorry, christian. Wrong. This guy is right. Plot twist: Akhenaten of Egypt was also the same character the bible calls "Moses". One in the same.
@StarseedPictures in whose opinion? Sigmund Freud? And because DNA would have rendered his theories as fit for the garbage can, akhenaten skull was found but no body. The perfect deception. Using their rubbish methodologies I could present theories that akhenaten was nigerian.
@@MaddGrrrlMedia according to who? Sigmund? With their fake theories ford3d down our throats?
Zero archeological evidence of a person name Hebrew man Moses. Parting the Red Sea, Turning Rods into Serpents, all fake. Story copied from Sargon of Akad.
@StarseedPictures and please translate moses' name into egyptian and see if it match Akhenaten. Moses and Aron's job in egypt was a campaign to free the slaves and not to introduce sun worshiping concept or built temples. Moses was a fugitive and not a pharoah. Moses's wife and children were arabiansborn and raised in median. His return to egyot was to present snake and other miracles or plagues to prove pharoah was false G_D. You seem confused.
Thanks for the very interesting lecture! One thing I would say is that while a literal interpretation of the moses story is not feasible, the timeline would make more sense if instead you pair Akhenaten with Joseph (a memory of a good pharaoh and a time of hebrew influence in the egyptian court), while Moses' exodus would take place a couple of generations after Aten, probably durong Ramses II's reign (which is already the main consensus for an Exodus Pharaoh). In any case, a literal exodus likely didnt happen (since canaan was part lf egypt at the time) but the theory that the exodus story tells of a memory where priests from the tribe of Levi had an influence over an egyptian pharaoh, only to then be exiled and persecuted is still very interesting
NKJV Matthew 24:1:14 Amen
Amplified Version Matthew 24:1:14 Amen
Im my own personal meditation about this parable, I understand that the five wise virgins keep extra oil because they believe that the bridegroom will come, it's thier faith that fuelled them to keep extra oil. Truly, the Bridegroom and the wedding is belong to those who are prepared cause the waiting is over when the bridegroom arrived.

It is likely that traces, or sections of monotheism survived the Amun backlash. There would be a fair bit of conflation of events and people- when all the sources and texts are collated. My view is the Rameses I was Abraham was Moses and Seti and Joseph his father-in law. The Abram/'Abraham name change. The mix-up over Sarah who would have been both Abraham's wife AND his sister. My amateur analysis focussed on the Aten Ai... being the figure of Melchezidek, as described in the Old Testament. Focus on the battle of Megiddo, also named Kadesh.

Sadly I'm only reminded of a "Christian" prime minister who brought a piece of coal into parliament. It's still trendy to be sceptical and sadly this stereotype that Christians don't care about the environment often stops people from searching more out about Jesus
A very simplistic interpretation. I'm sorry thats all he sees. So, a question; how do you treating with " the kingdom of heaven is like"?
