In western occultism that manifestation of the elements from most dense to least dense is earth, water, air, fire, spirit. Be mindful of this difference when mixing eastern and western practices. Both east and west are acceptable, its just that you want to stick with a consisten system at the beginning of your practice so as not to confuse your subconscious :-)
