A good time was had by many on this balmy summer exchange between two midwestern bred music nerds. The embarrassingly talented Dave Stuckey shares all manner of musical insights on this fleet-footed and chortle-filled episode.

Great Stuff thanks TWY!
RIP Sickie...Legend.
Who is the band. Paul Mahern I know but no one else. Is that Johnny Quest on bass
No Buckingham?
INXS , Groupe Australien de LÉGENDE !! Triste fin pour HUTCH le chanteur...😢❤❤
Dans son jus... Du vécu ! Un réel concert ZZ TOP ! Magie du moment...THANKS ❤❤😊
great video. thanks for sharing!
Stumbled across this... I had a few old VB shows on cassette and this is much cleaner copy of a great one. Thank you Wrecking Yard!
Such a great era of the band. Wish there were clearer videos. Thx for sharing.
Fairly certain that's me in the crowd up near the stage to the left of center. It is possible that the band I was in at the time (Misspent Youth) opened for this Die Kreuzen show, but I can't remember. We played the Hoosier Ballroom a couple of times and the No Bar, plus a couple of other shows around Indy in the mid 80s. Do you happen to have any footage of the opening act(s) of this show (another opener could have been Jot)?
Husker Du turned it up to 11!
Holy fuck you got Velcro Fly live! i never knew they played it live!
Was there. Public Image opened
Was there
Too right.
QUAGMIRE OF ❤
Era outra banda. Mas enfim, todos envelhecem.
People don’t get the nuance of acoustic performance
We were there w/ our fearless leader: Dr. Glen Gass.😎
You are deliberately infringing copyright. Perhaps research Thomas's views on these matters. You are depriving the band of income by doing this.
They know it is listed and have not asked for it to be taken down. Whether this clip exists or not does not impact anybody's income.
cheers
They were so good. Ugh.
Hello, how are you? Could we get into contact through email, as I have some questions about films of yours of Phil Collins? Thanks!
This footage is gold !!!! Beats any high profile high production stadium concert !!!!
legends
Unofficial Zero Boys historian here! This was the first show ever played with Vess on guitar instead of Terry, and the first show played by ZBs in 2 whole years. They went on to tour Europe with Toxic Reasons in April/May before splitting again.
Pride of Mid MO. Hell of guitar player and a nice guy to boot.
This tour - Amnesty International Conspiracy of Hope, was first time seeing U2 at the Forum in Los Angeles. They were amazing then and still are now..
love this shit, pure metal.
Two laws of the universe: 1. Try to pass someone and they will speed up. 2. When Bob is ripping an awesome solo, the camera will pan away from him.
Thank you very much for sharing... I was at the show LOL
I - The show opened with Swamp Thing ... this recoding started on the second song ... A Person Isn't Safe Anywhere These Days
April 26th 1986 Hartford Ct. Laser show that shot to the back of the civic center onto a huge dark canvas. I was 15 yrs old. Went with my older brother and his buddy and boy what a time.
Oh putain, merci!! Putain ouais!!!
I was there.
30:18 Up On The Sun
Live sound and live recording by Paul Mahern
Thankyou for posting.
Bono was on his peak regarding his voice power.....unbelievable and unreachable.
Still have no idea how guys like el duce could sing and play drums at the same time. Its like patting your head and rubbing your stomach
Holy hell I saw them 4 days later at the Col Ballroom in Davenport IA. It was both the worst and the best show I've ever seen, all in the same show. One minute they were too hammered to finish a song, a few minutes later there'd be this _unbelievable_ god-damned PERFECT NOISE coming out of this band...Never heard anything like it before or since, and I'll never forget it. Of course I was also with this girl I really liked... (Sigh.) Thanks a lot for putting these vids up here.
List of songs: Colors (Take me away) 0:00 Hit and Run: 3:56 Change Today: 6:53 Suppose they gave war and no one came: 9:54 Everybody’s a cop: 14:32
Joss

They didn't know U2 was about to conquer the world
Thanks for sharing. A real treat n wonderful rememberings The Who cover was an amazing last song Power of the 3way Dude flyin the flannel
This was my 2nd ZZ concert my Dad was friends with the band 🖤 i was 7 my 1st show was them in '84 i was 5. We had front row seats, free merch and Backstage full access. Got to hang with the band, they have even visited our house and hung out. I grew up on rock n roll with my Daddy, my Superman. He always had hot rods and would take me everywhere with him,to all the car shows. I was def Daddy's girl❤ My mom n dad are still happily married 56 years now, i had the most amazing childhood. My dad will always and forever be my hero. I cherish every single time he would take me to the car dhows, concerts, model train shows, hes an avid train collector HO scale, and would make the most beautiful towns on top of a huge mirror under our Christmas tree with powder to make it look like snow had the town built and the train went around the tree🖤❤
Up until this post, I really never heard the compairison of the meatmen and DGA. Both incredible bands.
