These are so obscure that I'm not sure whether I completely forgot about these or if I've never heard of them lol. Once you explained what they do, I feel like I very vaguely remember seeing a post about these on take5aday back then but wow, these are definitely are sooo obscure. I feel like no one has these.

Fun Fact: WGP McQueen's design would fit with the rest of the next gens, having a wing instead of the classic stock car spoiler the older racers had, except for the king who also had a wing So the point that McQueen activeley didn't use his faster modded version holds up The concept of McQueen doing this to keep his fame alive is an interesting one at that, he knows many people out there look up to him and knows his racing carreer is important, but knows his time is up, it's a very unique take on this, good job

When I first came up with this theory, I thought it was a little out there. But after watching Cars 3 with this is mind, I think it just explains so much about Lightning's behavior after the crash.
