Sehr schöner Mix, muss ich sofort wieder +35 Jahre zurück denken, als ich meinen ersten VC 20 und dann meinen Brotkasten als Geschenk bekam. Der sogar immer noch 100% funktioniert! Lol wie Geil, habe schon extrem viel auf SlayRadio gehört, aber das Lied von Sanxion "Remix von Mitch van Hayden" ist ja Sau Geil, ich musste so lachen als ich es hörte!

the play mechanics? I had the Sega version, it was great... but I never seen the Amiga originals... were there more features on the Amiga ones?
@@FeelingShred yes, on Mega/Universal Soldier (MegaDrive version, before official Turrican release) there was a grapple hook mechanic that totally slowed down the play as well as feeling very clunky. I still have them all. Super being the best.

@@FeelingShred yes it was fun, but. It's a run and gun game. You had to stop dead, throw grapple, then onto a slow swing. It kinda ruined the game, the way it was implemented. If it was like, Axiom Verge - grapple hook. It would have been perfect. But it wasn't and didn't really need such a function.
C64ever! It's weird how they manage to make everything so shit on today's hardware. When you think back to what we made with 8-bit, 64K & 1Mhz.
Well they fully exploited the potential of the 80's machines. While nowadays, they barely scratch the surface of the capacities of the existing architectures.
