This is very interesting for me. I’ve owned a few LS400s and they were all absolutely bulletproof for hundreds of thousands of miles. Is it just the very early ones that were built at the time of my stack of faulty 1JZ ECUs or the whole ten year run of LS400/Celsior?

automatic :( NO!!!! manual swap it!!!! looks great tho abit rice with the paint matched interior but hey sick car i own 2 a manual swapped 400 and a toyota aristo swapped single turbo sc300 with a bmw zf trans aem ecu makes 650 on 93 pump gas also on flex fuel but havent dyno it on e85 yet just street tuned by ralphs preformance out here in middle of america my 400 is also on a standalone spitronic ecu with audi r8 coil conversion i daily drive it got 224k miles on it drives like new also street drift it got a welded ls430 3.26 diff and a cd009 transmission probably makes around 260 to 280 wheel havent dyno it just street tune from ralphs preformance

My SC300 driver’s door is the worst car part I’ve ever personally owned. Absolutely awful quality, I can hardly believe it’s on a Toyota, let alone a Lexus. I’m afraid to even breathe on the passenger side door panel as it’s not entirely broken yet.

Do Aristo ECUs hold up better? I’ve been considering running my 1.5JZ setup on an Aristo ECU for a while until get the kinks out of it. USDM 2JZ have an AFM my 1JZ obviously never had but they do run 550cc injectors instead of the JDM 440s.

You have to press and hold the lock/unlock buttons to get the windows to open and close.

Vw had on key fob window roll for the pas 10 years at least
