This week on Upgrade Sounds, we've got a slightly more impromptu episode with the lead singer of Against The Current - Chrissy Costanza! We got to spend 20 minutes with Chrissy ahead of Against The Currents final UK Headline show of their 2024 festival run, and she gave us some incredible insight into the band and into her future endeavours. We spoke about how festival runs differ from normal shows, about how the band have progressed to a level where selling out a 500 capacity venue is 'normal' for them and about Chrissy's next steps into her solo project with duo Voila! It's a nice short one for you, but we hope you enjoy all the same!

It’s not to be THAT kid, but i don’t really know what transgenders are. 😅 What genitals do they have?, or do they just have a hole. Don't know. If anyone can explain it clearly. Please help me. so I don't look stupid anymore. I really respect the entire LGBTQIA+ community (btw I'm bi, so I don't hate or anything)
So basically it's when someone identifies as a gender that they weren't when they were born, and (unless they get surgery) keep whatever "jewels" they had before. Many people also believe in and identify as genders that are neither specifically male nor female, such as Bambie's case, whom identifies as non-binary (aka neither male nor female)
They are people who identify as the opposite or neither genders and they have the genitals of there both gender :)
Are you actually a kid? A transgender person is someone who was born a man, but wants to become a woman. Or someone who was born a woman, but wants to become a man. Whatever gender/sex you were born as those are the genitals you will have, unless you get surgery. So for example a transgender man will have a vagina. If you’re actually a kid you don’t have to understand these things or worry about someone’s genitals, also fyi Bambi isn’t a transgender. Hope this answered your question, God bless you!
transgender is someone who changed their gender. for example you were born as a boy, but you felt like you should be a girl, so you did some operations and changed your voice, look etc. and probably genitals too Bambie Thug and Nemo were non binary (which isn't the same as transgender) non binary person is a person that doesn't feel like they are a boy or a girl, but they probably don't change their bodies, they use pronouns like they/ them or maybe others
