Hi.. I am portuguese citizen settled in UK since 2018 holding a pre settled status.... I want to get my parents ( indian citizen) here in UK... I believe I can no longer get them here under EEA status as the deadline for the same was June 2021 ( correct me if I am wrong ) so my question is Can i get them here to join me in uk having them apply for a family permit initially to enter UK that gives them 6 months and then applying for a eu settlement scheme will that give them 5 years straight? Please advice... thanks in advance!!

Have a question . During pre settled status I can stay 1 period for less than 1 year for good reason for example study . It is a good study reason if I study to make driving license / or have a programming bootcamp and internship? Sincerely
Hi, What if your EEA family permit is refused? Could you go to the appeal route? Would the home office still issue you a visa even if it is after the 31st of December 2020? Because you applied before the 31st December 2020?

Great information, thank you. I have always wondered why the Home Office is so keen that the overseas business remains overseas and that the UK does not become the place where the business has its headquarters.

Do you think that many businesses might not be able to absorb the cost of bringing EU nationals to the UK to work? I am making this point because many businesses will need robust budgets to cover the costs of the Certificates of Sponsorship, the Skills Charge as well as the NHS Surcharge. There are the costs of each application and if the business agrees to pay for the Skilled Workers' dependants, this cost must also be factored into the equation. @33:35 --> Makes me so cross! I hate it when older people are devalued and age is seen as a detriment.
