Here's the question you can always ask to avoid these scams if it's so easy to do, why don't they just do it themselves and not tell others about it? Why are they shooting themselves in the foot by telling others how to make money, which will hurt their profits with competition? the answer is because they aren't making money from it. it's a scam

the problem with that is the clients want to generate sales from the copywriting, if you don't really generate sales, you don't keep the client. Eventually, you build a reputation that you are not a great copywriter and clients will look for copywriters that generate sales for them.

I have done this exact method and last week got suspended from TikTok shop as the products must be sent within the UK. I was using Dsers through Aliexpress and Shopify then to Tiktok shop. Im in the UK so not sure about the USA as I know they want the products to ship from within the same country. It's strange cause there are a lot of overseas Chinese sellers.

I disagree with Digital Laura on the calculator example. Too many people don't know math and they don't know it because computers and calculators do the math for them. Let's take another example; writing. I'm currently writing the outline of a story to present to a producer next week. How is using AI going to help me complete my outline? Is it going to write it for me? If it does then it's no longer my story. And if I can just use AI to write a story & pass it off as mine then can't a producer just do the same thing and bypass the writer altogether? I don't see how the floodgates of creativity are opened. What I do see is a corruption of my art & vocation. I wholly and completely take issue with her statement that the internet made people smarter. I see a dumbed-down generation coming and worry greatly for my country. She says, "be creative". Sounds more like, "be lazy". Creativity is hard work. If it comes easily then I would posit you're not being nearly as creative as you think you are.

People MOST certainly have become dumber as a result of the internet, or possibly it's because of social media. People now are noticeably dimmer then fifteen years ago.

We absolutely did become more stupid for having calculators. There's ways to do complex multiplication and division with things like sine and cosine, but we don't learn that, because calculators. And maybe you're limited by mundane tasks, but intelligent people use that time to think about more complex tasks. Getting those mundane tasks into your muscle memory/habitual actions, will free up all sorts of concentration for other tasks. Sounds like you have a skill issue.

I worked a cash register in the 70s. You had to know math. Understand why a penny can save you from more loose change. Know how to add the sales tax. Today, people at checkouts have no idea how to do math. If I give them 2 cents with my 6.00 when something rings 5.27, they ate completely clueless until they put the figure into the machine. Sometimes, technology does impede brain growth.

I'll admit chat gpt and other ai assistance will be used by some, possibly many. Unfortunately others will just see this as an easier way to create cat videos Personally I am excited to see what effects this will have on the education system..... the AI, not the cat videos
