Rehabbing after serious knee surgery. Did the 20 rep thing put on muscle, or just a little stronger? Please let me know as I am hearing experts recommend three different rep ranges and I am confused. What was your experience?

Bruh! Credit! I got the book about 24 years ago and it changed everything for me. I’m 53 now and about to start a new cycle; I’ve been up to 265x 21 @ 181 lbs body weight no drugs etc…I’ve done the program many times and it will make you a tougher SOB bc each set takes about 3.5 - 4 minutes for the work set…brutal but effective;

And I went from 181 lbs body weight at 5’10” and 32” waist to 191 lbs in 12 weeks…best I felt in a long time however you MUST SCALE YOUR LOADS carefully as you did…smart move man.

Lump hammer and chisel in order to remove the unwanted tiles. Select the tiles that you like and use a professional tiler to lay them down. Of course, if you’re capable of doing it yourself and have the time, then crack on. I don’t understand why anyone would want the hassle of doing all this. Countless procedures, equipment, materials, and all that you accomplish is a grey floor that looks the same as the garage.

How many times a week did you do the squats?
For this program just once a week. 20 reps. increase weight each week until you find a max. Currently I am doing a front squat cycle using the "Russian Squat Program." It is 6 weeks long and 3 session per week.
@samuelzachariah4 thanks for the reply! After a few months off, I'm back to squatting about 380. PR is about 420. However, I did a regimen about a year ago that was 6 sets at 25-25-20-15-10-5 reps. I got to where I started the first with 135. . . However I just felt like 100 squats was too much volume and even though muscle endurance shot up, total strength plateaued. I like this 20 reps once a week approach. I might start it starting back at 135 or something. Thanks again for the reply! Hope you're recovery stays solid!
