do not throw away the old ones. buy a set of sanding-polishing and resurface them. and let them wait for the next swap. or polish them and sell them. i seen before, they are spray coated with clear laquer, but recently i heard, no need of laquer, just polish them.
Very helpful video. I was about to give up and pay a repair shop to install the replacement headlamps. Then I found this video and completed the replacement myself in short order. Thank you!!!
nO No! dont go to repair shop. first try your best, use only your intuition. then read instructions. then ask a friend. and when you exhaust all wrong ways, then watch youtube. :-)))
Excellent. Bought the headlights thinking it would be straighforward but then saw the video showing how the bumper cover has to removed. Was getting ready to take it to the mechanic when I found this video. Thank you for doing this showing every step.
Very good 1st video, thanks, need to this after my new headlights arrive, pretty sure it'll be easy! I will save even more time by not dropping bolts on the ground 😉cheers!
Update; I just did this and took less than 30 minutes and that included breaking a bolt. On reinstall I used 3/8 impact and broke a bolt. Its easy enough I suggest to just install by hand
Great video. Looks like, using this method, a person can replace both headlamp assemblies in less time than it takes to just take off the bumper, and it's still being done properly
Great video - I had headlights delivered today and was unaware the bumper is normally removed to replace these. This video was a huge help and both sides are now replaced and look great!!
Thank you so much for this video. Just changed out both of my faded headlights on my 2000 Camry LE V6 5speed using exactly the instructions you gave. I been holding this off for years simply because I hate taking off the whole entire front bumper. Did everything in less than 20min.
Also heard bumper has to come off. But you did it thank you.
Thank you so much. I was not about to rip my bumper off 😆
God dammit son ur a American hero‼️

Great instructional video. Best out there on this subject. Helped me a lot. You should make more UA-cams, you're good at it.
