What to say about Irvine ? He won thanks to Salo in Germany, thanks to Schumacher in Malaysia, was miserable in Luxemburg, Made zero Pole Position, just ridiculous! Ferrari was happy to see Häkkinen champion for the 2nd Time!
Absolutely correct. McLaren's reliability and Hakkinen 's mistakes gave him whatever chances......!!!!!

Ferrari always capitalised on mclarens retirement which is hardly a daring way to win
Ferrari was definitely the best team. You could say they were already year before but the driver made some mistakes and then in 1999 Schumacher had a bad luck when breaking his leg. IF Schumacher hadn't had the ski accident, he might be working for Ferrari and maybe Ferrari would have not struggled so much. Nobody cannot deny how Todt, Brown and Schumacher lifted the team.
Mclaren mercedes is the least succesful Newey combination red bull is so much more succesful ewen williams renault!

Hi. Unfortunately not. I've got various old stuff motorsport related that I recorded on VHS years ago that I'm slowly converting. No more like this though.
