YES , I just kept running into one bug after another , so I just closed my account , deleted the game and quit playing , ESO is designed ( IMO ) to drain your bank account , will not be buying anything more from Bethesda .

Unfortunately, I do not know how to fix that bug. If restarting the quest doesn't allow you to finish, I would submit it to the devs in a bug report. They've gotten better lately at fixing bugs.

Not that I know of. As far as I know, this is just the latest storyline quest for WoW. I suspect this storyline will continue in the next patch, and this quest will end up being the first quest in that 10.2 storyline. So they've given us a sneak peek by letting us play the first chapter of the story. I haven't played the 10.2 beta though, so I don't know for sure if the "Emerald Dream" questline continues in the next patch.

Yes you have to play the questline on one character, the rest is able to skip it in 10.2

Yeah, that sounds very frustrating. I was personally annoyed at 33:59 when I talked to one of the NPCs and the other one would no longer talk to me, causing me to miss its dialogue. But at least the quest didn't bug out and become incompletable for me like it did for you. In your case, I would suggest posting to the forums if you can get into them. There may be other people having the same problem on Xbox, and if enough people report it, it may cause the dev team to move the fix to the top of the list. In my experience, the devs are usually quick to fix bugs, but they aren't always aware that the bugs exist.

Good question. In order to unlock this quest chain, you have to 1. Own both High Isle and Firesong or have an ESO Plus subscription 2. Complete the main story on both High Isle and Firesong. Once you finish these stories, Za'ji shows up all over High Isle and Firesong and pesters you to start the quest chain.

Honestly, I don't know. I don't even know what "collection style" is. However, I do know that there are lots of cosmetic items you can get for doing this trial on veteran or hardmode, doing speedruns, with no deaths, etc. UESP lists all of the achievements and rewards for it at the bottom of this page: en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Rockgrove

That sounds extremely frustrating. You might want to try abandoning the quest, leaving the instance for like 20 minutes, and picking the quest back up again. Something like that happened to me when I did the Blackwood storyline, and it was right in the middle of me recording. I had to stop recording, abandon, wait 20 minutes, start over, then start recording again when I got back to where I had left off. I was a real pain. Hopefully they can start to fix some of these issues when they devote Q3 of this year to "bug fixes." I love ZOS. They've made a great game. But the bugs really have been an issue for a lot of people.

Wow. That's crazy. I've found several bugs that were known to have occurred in this quest at launch, but what you're describing isn't one of them. I wonder if something broke when the new patch (Firesong) was implemented? I'm pretty sure I recorded this before the launch of Firesong. Last year sometime, ZOS implemented a patch that broke a main story quest in Clockwork City. Clockwork City, of all places! Unfortunately, it just so happened that I was doing Clockwork City storyline for the first time right at that moment. I was stuck for over a month waiting on them to fix it, which they finally did. However, that bug had like 30 people reporting it on the forums, so it got attention from someone high up and they got the fix done. I don't know what to do in your case, because no one else seems to have reported this particular bug.

@@thresdendgaming i have reported it to the online support but no word yet ; and that is not the only bug i am getting ; the other one is that when the target is to get to a book , notes , or a backpack , etc --- if someone gets to it just before i do , that item disappears and i can no longer interact with it ; i have to shut down the game , log off , shut my xbox down and reboot everything , log back in before i can see and interact with that item again ; gamers should not have to suffer the way we are with ESO ESPECIALLY for the amount of money that is paid out ; it looks like ESO was specifically programmed to drain your bank account dry ; these games would be so much better if the devs were not so dang GREEEEEEEDY !! 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

I feel the same way. I think I am getting better at Tales of Tribute, but I'm still pretty bad at it. On the other hand, I just can't seem to give up on getting the quests done.
