Amen. Your intention while sounding is an essential. There are people sounding trumpets that don't know The True and Living God. So in prayerful fervency sound and sound. Every breath and every new day is a gift. Ask for Abba to guide soundings as a vessel for Him. I have tried to sound just as someone else and this is no good of course. We are living stones, no 2 are alike. Pray for being HIS instrument and He will do it. Sounding a shofar is getting yourself out of the way and then getting the instrument out of the way. Likened to dying to self. The shofar is an instrument, but it is even more the voice of God. We are to worship in spirit and in truth so sounding requires growing in Jesus. This drives me to keep sounding. I still am certain that I have yet to have sounded the shofar in fullness. Each time I return to it I am prayerful and hopeful that I will sing a new song or that today will be best sounding. Sometimes while sounding I am asking for certain sounds, such as brokenness / repentance or pertaining to the new Jerusalem or to the final trumpet or to the sound of Jericho or the sound of Mt. Sinai. Meditating on and reciting specific verses while sounding brings increase in The Holy Spirit. Jesus says we can do nothing apart from Him and I believe it. You can email me and we can talk about sounding if you'd like. Blessings as you sound. Keep sounding the alarm and call to assemble. This use of shofar is very much on my mind of late, which is Hebrews 10:25... not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. We have too many as yet that are not in bible studies or home fellowships or in any gathering! So pray and sound. The Holy Spirit will give us the words to speak and make us to be a flame of fire. Halleluiah!!! Shofar is used ( present tense ) to call an assembly, to gather the troops.

@@PeaceinYeshua You are right on time. Pray and sound AND practice sounding shofar. Love Jesus and ask for HIM to help your sounding. I ask for Him to make me HIS instrument. When you sound from this place of abiding in Jesus, the sound that comes out will shake heaven and scatter the enemy. I have had people discourage me from sounding but by grace, God is greater. Also you can record your sounds and as you listen you will know how to sound more clearly or longer or gentler or with more of an attack... I had no training but by grace just kept sounding. If you sound daily while prayerful God will quickly improve the sounds. I still hear little children sound with more anointing sometimes. 1 note from the right intention ( "Jesus Help me" as an example ) will be more than enough. The great trumpet blast is knowable now in part, but as you've said when the Mighty Sound comes it will be much MUCH louder and will either be the most amazing sound or it will be a terrible sound. I have sometimes said to people after sounding that the trumpet heralding His return will be like being underneath Niagara Falls 🌊 with this sound being a drop 💧 as a preview. Blessings and joy as you abide in Jesus !
