Hi I'm Sean a shipwatcher and railifanner. This channel is about Ships and trains around the great lakes region.
BPRR EMD MP15DC #44 moving autoparts and steel.
On 3/14/2024 BPRR EMD MP15DC #44 a end cab switcher was assigned to the the J Yard Transfer which handled mainly by the Ford Stamping Plant. Many old 86 FT. High cube boxcars can be seen a couple with Grand Trunk and Western and Conrail paint. The Former Southern Pacific MP15C lead the Train back to the D Yard on the way working a few more industries.

On January 29th, 2025 NS C87 was lead by EMD GP38-2 #5321 in its old Thoroughbred paint. After finishing working the Siding in Hamburg they proceed into Buffalo. Later South Buffalo Railway EMD GP15-3s would be working the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Tift/BCK Yard Job with the two SBRR EMD GP15s as power (SBRR #1559 and SBRR #1584) in Buffalo NY.

The First train of the Day was CSX I166 which would be stopping at Tift on CSX after just going through the Seneca Yard. The train would have a CP GE AC4400CWM leading and another AC4400CWM as mid DPU. On 12/30/2024 NS C87 was paired with two GP38-2s one being NS 5183 an admiral cab and NS 5300 a former Penn Central EMD GP38-2. I would catch Just in time as they just left the Hamburg Siding in Blasedell and were lining the switch back to the main before they would proceed west for the Bison Yard. The morning starts off with a loaded NS sand train (NS 60S) on the Lake Erie Sub with NS SD70ACe #1090 taking the lead and CP Marron and Grey Heritage Unit EMD SD70ACU #7018 trailing second. BSOR MLW C424 #4212 leads a BC&J Excursion back to Hamburg from The NS interchange at Buffalo at GB with BSOR ALCO RS11 #5010 pushing at the rear. Later the power would cut off and the two units would tie together and headed back East to BSOR's Yard, 12/15/2024.

Great Lakes vessel Captains are the best in the world. Salt water skippers would soil themselves if they had to do what the CLARKE just did...pilot up a narrow river without tugs.
I live just North of the city and it always amazia's me to see them pilot the ships down the Buffalo river , big ship , small river . Very nice video coming into the river.
