Old people shouldn't read audiobooks. This guy's mouth sounds so dry it's disgusting😂
Why in the hell would someone with a lisp try to read audiobooks
Clean your ear buds
Can’t wait to listen to this whole thing I just found this book at the thrift store for seven dollars and I looked online and it’s worth $100-$500 depending on the condition!!!!!
I having only seen the first two as films,I didn't know there was a third book.
Better than the film
The first book I ever read was “A Princess of Mars” many years ago… Thank You very much, listening to it again was a real joy 👍🏻
THANK YOU ✨️👍
Very good narration! Exceptional for LibriVox
No AI!❤❤

The American accent does not good well with PGW
Yeah, it is. This story discusses eugenics which was a very common theme during that period. It is not typical Wodehouse as it is not comedic.
Thanks for this short novel.
A bit more humour in it than other ERB works.
that is not the story that is read here.
Thanks I've been looking for Robinson Caruso part two
Fabulous!! Thank you❤️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Love the roman content
Dostoevsky is the greatest writer of all time. He was the voice of the poor and the oppressed.

Bravo and thanks
This is an amazing audio!
Not heard of this book by Edgar Rice Burroughs, looking forward to listening to it tonight. Thanks for posting.
At the age of 11 in 1958 I started reading scifi... as a teenager I read this; my first Burroughs book. It changed my entire life. I made new friends and enemies within these pages. Over many years I traveled the world in his writings and even went to Mars. Adventures, heroes, life changing events and all built around honor and lies, failures, recovery and most of all... finding a mate to love! I was changed forever sitting in a comfortable chair while the world around me faded away. I found the luxury of living two lives at once. It is what every writer wants for his audience. Few have equaled Burroughs (perhaps H. Ryder Haggard comes close). Had it been possible I would have stayed with Carter on Barsoom. If this story is new to you, you will not be disappointed. The narration is first rate and the story is already proven to be timeless.
Terrible narrator, would be much better with a man. Preferably Mark Nelson
Dreadful narration stuck it for 5 minutes
GODBLESS you
Burroughs, genius and prolific, he wrote 70 books. I look forward to hearing this ... why can't a real producer/director put out a movie worthy of these stories, not the pap that has been done before? As great as the Dune series is they have no leg up on the stories about John Carter. More intrigue, danger, adventure and love. Imagine these tales thrown across a wide screen in all the spectacularly enhanced visuals by today's CGI. And to realize that this was written 1915, over 120 years ago. Few can offer the detailed descriptions that Burroughs does. Straightforward without being overdone. I read my first Burroughs novel Pellucidar over 60 years ago in 1962... it changed me. You will enjoy this I am sure.
This just proves that actors are important part of audio book.
"Let your great object be victory, not lengthy campaigns". Self defense/Survival: Don't fight, dominate and escape.
These books just take my away to a far far place where my imagination takes me on a ride a roller coaster of up's and downs. Keep up the good work
The letters are written by Pyotr Ivanitch and Ivan Petrovitch.
Thank you gounding father$
