My wife ,Ginny, and I sat right down front at the Westside room of the Century Plaza Hotel on Jan 25, 1970. John sang for our first anniversary. Now he didn't know it was our anniversary, but we were so pleased to be there. I hope that John's parents are proud and pleased with the life he has led.

Why does he look like a jerk to you? I'm curious. If one works hard and smart at ones career and put ones heart into it for years, then one can have a beautiful home. Success just doesn't fall out of the sky. It takes desire and dedication and focus and quite a bit of sacrifice as well, combined the refusal to acknowledge the existence of failure or the existence of the word "quit."
