I’m Hispanic, and I’m pretty sure many others feel that Ryan quit against tank(I know the rehydration clause, etc. but no excuses because Ryan agreed to it). Because of that, the second fight won’t be as big. If Ryan would have gone out throwing hands, it would have been different. But that quitter tag on Ryan will hurt his ppv numbers. And I think he knew, that against Haney, he had to win or his career was basically over, in terms of people looking at him as an upper level boxer. So Ryan decided not to make weight in order to have a better chance in the fight. Either way, i no longer watch Ryan fights, I don’t support his chaotic behavior and him being a quitter. At this point, Ryan just wants to cash out his popularity and be similar to Jake Paul. I don’t look at him as a serious boxer, just a person that wants people’s money. Similar to tank Davis and to a lesser degree, Canelo near the end of his career. Even though, Canelo can get somewhat of a pass, because he’s willing to fight anyone except Benavides and maybe morell.
