Scroll wheel isn't working :<
This is extremely helpful--thank you! A question--I need to loop the *color* of an object--just the color, not location, rot, etc, and also NOT any other material properties. Can this be done using the same method you've outlined here? I'm not quite a Blender newbie--have been using it for a year an a half or so--and I do understand 3D graphics pretty well (20 years of 3ds max). I know Blender can usually get the job done, but also that it's not always a straight path. Any hints or tutorials I could look at? Thanks again--great job on this one.
Thank you very much for your input. I was racking my brain because the render had a different tone than the viewport, and it turned out I just needed to change the option from "view transform" to standard.

You speak too fast, mumble and swallow a lot of significant words, and you have a very annoying background noise that is chopped by your audio post production (expander / gate to remove that noise while you aren't speaking) Arghhh. But thanks.

having linked copy with different rendering engine is helpful when rendering by layers. for example, fog is incredibly slow to render with cycles, so render the scene without the fog in cycles, and render ONLY the fog in eevee, then combine those two during the compositing phase. this is super powerful. Also, I think you cant have the vector pass with eevee, so you can make a linked copy, set it to cycles just for ten vector pass to add motion blur in comp.

Will creating a new scene duplicate all the material and mesh data

I have a flickering scene behind my current scene. I can only see the top bar section I'm not able to close or to move it is just there flickering. My main scene is ok but is annoying 😑 seeing the flickering. I'm not able to move or to delete not sure what to do.
Click one mix node to select it. Shift-click the second. Hit ctrl+the number 0. It inserts a mix node and connects the other two mix nodes to it. You can do this with any two nodes including the color ramps.
Thanks for this - I've been trying to figure out a good workflow to do the same scene with different cameras while preserving the original -- kind of like take 1,2,etc...I'm wondering if it will balloon the project size though. Ideally, I'd have linked models but with independent actions...any thoughs on that?
