By centralising our calf pens using portable shelters, we have managed to save a huge amount of time and effort - 38% reduction in time feeding calves. Motion and transportation is waste in the lean world and we try to eliminate as much of this waste as possible on our farm. This video runs through the changes we made and the benefit in numbers.

Moving things around on farm is WASTE and we aim to try to reduce our motion and transportation waste on farm as much as possible. This video runs through how we have managed to reduce our calf feeding time by almost 38% just by centralising our calves and eliminating several hours a day of motion.
