Yep, it didn't work later for some of my bits as well. It's not the most consistent, but right out of the box, I sharpened hundreds of bits successfully.

Get your credit score as high as possible. Use a credit repair specialist to maximize this effort. Ruff it for a year to stash as much cash as possible, live on the bare minimum, live rent free somewhere etc. Have a good job with pay stubs, see if a raise is possible. Know who your co-signer would be if need be. Shop banks, lending institutions, until you find a loan officer to start talking to/working with. This relationship is probably one of the most important. Build it. Find who you want as your representative (realtor, real estate agent). DONT buy a new car, or utilize big lines of credit etc. Keep credit use low. Don't put any inquries (credit pulls) on your record either. Hope this helps!

A good real estate agent can help you find the credit repair specialist AND loan officer if you want to make it easier on you.
