@@awesometropolis nice, i never thought i will see a battletank map ever on the retail servers after the Blizz changed the EULA about the created maps in custom games. :) That was my most favorit map ever. Cool stuff.

It's an unfortunate phenomenon with many old games; the few players who still play the game are the ones most passionate about the game and therefore most likely to be the most skilled and experienced, which makes entry for new players much more difficult. Ideally, there would be enough traffic to the game that regular lobbies could be hosted with both novice and experienced divisions (this used to be the case with this map about 7-8 years ago when it had a larger playerbase) which would give the opportunity for new players to learn the game. As is, there's a very high skill floor for BT League, so new players rarely are able to join, and the playerbase continues to shrink as older players retire. Alas, there's unlikely to be a reversal of this trend unless the map is remade as a standalone or ported into another platform such as DOTA2 to increase the playerbase.

@@awesometropolis Not true at all. Warcraft 2 community do not have these problems at all. And these guys are really a**holes these are just facts.

there was, but I think it didn't become too popular due to the map being small. and the lanes being terrible.

Pero hay partidas publicas de Battle Tanks que cualquier persona puede crear o jugar (dentro de Warcraft 3). Busca salas llamadas "BT League" (solamente podras observar estas) o "BT Pub", "Battle Tanks for All" (para todos), etc. o busca el mapa Battle Tanks 9.20b en el menu de partidas personalizadas de Warcraft 3.
