This purchase came about after a series of mishaps with our Panasonic cameras. We decided to go back to the beginning of our serious digital photography & buy a Nikon. The shows we produce are mainly video based & the Nikon Coolpix P1000 seemed a good compromise between a still & video camera.

Back in my archive, this show was made in 2016 after a holiday in Herefordshire. After visiting Lydney, I said I could spend the rest of my life here. The show also the Forest of Dean Light Railway & is a mixture of still & video clips, some handheld.

In our camera club days we made 2 visits to Newcastle Upon Tyne, one a day trip & the other a short winter break. This is a compilation of the pictures taken on those visits.

We have been sailors since 1995, now we are over 80, we still would love to own a sailing boat. Our last one was 40ft long, much too big for us to handle now.. We regularly check the yacht market & last month one appeared & if we win the lottery, may buy.

We had just had to move home from Preston to Darwen, our landlady had decided to sell our apartment. To drown our sorrows & celebrate our 28th Wedding anniversary, we booked a meal at "Essence" a restaurant in the town, little did we know, we also had a history lesson

I have been using an air fryer for a couple of months now & it's like the Curates egg, good in parts. This time it wasn't & the results were only just edible.
