I don’t know if you’ll read this, but I’ve had the same issue with my 2006 4Runner for 2 days and I lost my key fob. This fixed it! THANK YOU. Unlock and lock the car a few times. Insert key into ignition and turn to ACC. Push the red button down once. Turn car ON. Alarm disabled.

Skipped the key jiggling thing and just pressed the button a couple times with the key in start position until it turned off But i did learn the alarm light in this piece of crap is also a button so that helped, so thanks

Thanks so much! Light was left on several days in my 1999 Toyota Camry and battery died. Hooked up charger and alarm (horn) started going off. Red button broke and had to take the switch apart. Used this method and was able to hold the button connections good enough that it reset. Nothing in my owners manual worked, but this did! Thanks!!!!

I've been disconnecting batteries, unlocking locking doors, flipping ingnition on/off eleventy billion times for 2 weeks trying to get the alarm to quit going off and the car started after the battery went dead. I didn't realize that blinking light was actually a button. After watching this video, BOOM, car starts first time. Can I buy you dinner?

On my 2000 sienna, the reset button was under the hood release, had to hold it down while turning the key 👍👍

I had a guy who said in his quote "hi, i have 2009 Toyota sienna i bought new remotes on eBay. Tried to program with opening/closing doors etc. Now horn blow continuous (on and off) car wont start. can you help ??? thanks" ... Any advise? Disconnect and reconnect battery?
