    The math is a bit wrong. It will work but come with issues when you point the line up or down. Since the slope of the width of the line w is perpendicular to the line itself, you can just use a perpendicular vector, normalize it, and multiply it by w/2 to get the vector between (x, y) and the endpoint of the colliders. Here's what I did to get the collider endpoints: private Vector2[] GenerateColliderPoints() { Vector2[] points = GetPositions(); float width = lr.startWidth; //m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) float m = (points[1].y - points[0].y) / (points[1].x - points[0].x); //Calculate Offset Vector2[] deltaP = { new Vector2(-m, 1).normalized * width / 2, new Vector2(m, -1).normalized * width / 2 }; //Generate Collider vertices Vector2[] colliderVertices = { points[1] + deltaP[0], points[0] + deltaP[0], points[0] + deltaP[1], points[1] + deltaP[1] }; return colliderVertices; }

    As an Angry Birds fan, I approve of this. The only problem I have with it is the lack of characters on both the bird side and the pig side, Red being a BIT TOO good, pigs not popping with the 5000 points effect and blocks not breaking. Also the fact you used Reloaded clips instead of the OG because shocker, Rovio is bad with names AND bad with remakes, especially considering Reloaded isn't even a remake but a weird badly made mashup of custom Movie styled levels (no one likes the movie, every single fan got sick of it because of rovio overusing movie style characters in their bad games) and remade levels from AB Space.

    Is it possible to add collision to a line render in Unity3D using world space? Ive tried multiple ways such as MeshCollider, EdgeCollider2D and now polygon collider. I am making a curved line renderer tool in Unity 3d and i can get the polygon and edge colliders to show and copy the curving of the line render but it is stuck in one position as it is locked on one axis. Trying to convert Vector2 to Vector3 but i dont know if the polygon collider accepts Vector3.

    PSA: This video is a part 2 addon to my line renderer tutorial, please watch that first for this video to work best: ua-cam.com/video/5ZBynjAsfwI/v-deo.html I'm very sorry for all the confusion this caused in the comments below, and that it took me so long to realize this was an issue

  • @jackbot1992
    @jackbot1992 6 місяців тому

    Are these comments written by robots? There's no way anyone would be satisfied by this tutorial, it's telling you absolutely nothing the title says, and the description straight up lies. Reported as misleading.

    • @BLANKdev
      @BLANKdev 6 місяців тому

      I would love to fix this. I have seen a lot of mixed feedback on this as some people find it misleading and others find it helped. With this many people finding it misleading though I definitely have a problem I want to address. What about it doesn't work for you? Especially a lie in the description, I genuinely don't see one but if you can point it out I will fix it immediately as I would hate for one to be there

    • @BLANKdev
      @BLANKdev 6 місяців тому

      Actually I may have just got it, while we are drawing a line between two UI points, the line itself isn't on the UI. Would clarifying that help? This video is from a long time ago now and while I don't agree with this method anymore, I think for a quick and dirty way to draw such a line in a small project it gets the job done

    • @jackbot1992
      @jackbot1992 6 місяців тому

      @@BLANKdev I genuinely don't know if you're trolling. The lie in the description is, I'll just copy-paste it: "At the end of this video you will be able to draw a line between two items in a UI" There is not a single line drawn in the entire video, you don't even talk about it, except in the intro. You just change the scaling of a canvas.

    • @BLANKdev
      @BLANKdev 6 місяців тому

      @@jackbot1992 Thank you for the honestly. I'm not trolling at all I take trying to help people very seriously and am very keen to fix the mistake.
