I go on the trails for you so you can see what you’re getting into!! Most of the trails are established trails. But I am staying away from the so called tourist trails. I’m looking for off the beaten path trails I like wooded trails. Also trails that don’t have a lot of people. tranquility is what I’m looking for. These trail might be in the middle of a big city or in the middle of nowhere! So come along for the journey!

Three miles sounds perfect! I’m happy to hear the state puts the logging profits back into the parks. I enjoyed this trail . We have those purple cone shaped flowers up here now too. I’m always happy to see all the flora ♥️
I was at Red Cedar on Tuesday. The temp and humidity level were great. Saw a deer across the river- first one! And the new batch of wild flowers. Some fade away while others just arrive. This trail today seems like it’s very sprawling, which I find interesting.😁

That main road looks familiar to me, I was at the camp kettle moraine for bay youths back in the day many many many moons ago, we had to trim the branches off the trees around the corners, so you can see up coming traffic

How many sick dogs have drank fr9m them no thanks I love my dog and I bring my own water no sick dog for me or people that don't like dogs can add poison to it just not worth it at all bring ur own
There was a water spigot real close to these where you could empty them and refill them
Leptospirosis doesn't care if you refill it. It'll stick around.
Yea, iv got 3 watering trofs for all furbabies. Lots of deer in this heat, they love a cool drank and l9ve watching birds bathing n cooling down. Wild rabbits love bathing in water also.

Thanks Ned! This looks like my kind of trail if I can work my way up to 1.8. With my back pain, a trip through Costco is about all I can handle.
Nice idea but I take my travel water bowls and water bottle with me so that my dogs drink out of their own bowls…don’t think it’s the best idea to share water bowls with other dogs, cats and whatever else is walking by?!
Some dogs literally ear other dogs poop and drink water from a puddle in the st. I don't think it's that serious.
@TunchiChic with the new stuff going around I don't even let my dog go near other dogs can't take the risk my dog is not just a pet but my service dog so I need her to b on tip top shape so I can live a normal life we just bring our own safer and better. And if ur letting a dog eat other poop that's on u my dog knows not to even sniff worms happen that way like I said I depend on my dog can't take stupid risks

Thank you, Ned! The flowers were beautiful. I love those bushes with the white clusters 🌸. All the pinks and purples! And for me😎. The trail was pretty wild and secluded in spots. I’d like it there. I have a trekking pole but it’s one I made out of wood. Great trail. Thank you.

Yes that is a small creek. I showed it after I sat on bench. I will show more wild flowers when I see more. Haven’t seen a lot so far.

Have wanted to go there for a long time. Now I'm not sure I would be able to. Haven't done 2 miles in a long time.
If you just go as far as you can you can turn around. The accessible look out area is real nice!

There’s a fresh water spring that pours out near the Cornell/Holcombe area that the parents would take us to sometimes. The “powers that be” built a cement protection of sorts around it to prevent erosion. I lived going there and tasting that water with my hands ♥️
