Who cares now? You should have propably got stunged in your tight puckered little…….
I appreciate your content. I grew up in rural Arkansas and love to come across your type of videos. Meaning, very down to Earth and matter of fact living. You aren’t trying to do anything fancy and just showing how to live. I love it and it reminds me of home (I now live in New England)
For soups on a cold day with kids, just make chicken broth in advance, freeze it in icecube trays, then dump into a ziploc. Saves space, and you can just heat those soup cubes in the microwave. Frozen veggies etc and you got a really healthy meal. Get a pressure cooker, it'll save you a lot of time, we should all spend more times on making sure our kids eat right!
Thank you.
Yes, please share! I would like to make some cream of chicken instead of buying it.
@@Vangirhl Thank you! I will share. It's easy to make and delicious!
someone is trying to get rich quick
@@stevepmo Ingles prices in my small town are always high. I asked corporate why. They stated it was because we had no competition in our county and they could charge more.
Hi ya from Barnstaple in the UK. lm 72 and also a Taryl fan. Iv got my own Taryl stuff and look forward to his skits eagerly. Theres your dinner. X
@lawrencenoctor2703 hello! It's very nice to meet you.
Looks like it turned out great! Would also love to see your chicken and dumplings if you have a recipe for it
Thank you so much! I thought I had a chicken and dumplings recipe already filmed, but I couldn't find it. I will work on that tomorrow!
Oh jeez ya left us hanging, I wanted to get the feedback. I'm guessing its a bit like french toast. Looked real good!
@subzeromjc sorry, I didn't try it till later. It was like a cross between French toast and custard.
@@AppalachianLiving765 Sure looked good, I’d bet better than most with your homemade bread. Thanks for the video.
@@subzeromjc you are so sweet! Thank you.
I hope you get your power back soon 🙏
@seanvogel8067 thank you! At the bottom of our mountain, a huge pine tree fell on top of the power line.
We had a pumpkin started to rot, and it smelled like fish.
@seanvogel8067 I wonder what was rotting in Ingles? It was awful too.
A Perfect 9!😂
I'm liking this series, but not the reason for it. It's going to take years for some people and places to get back on track. Oh, and there is a treasure trove over at the Mennonite farmhouse! Thanks for sharing.
@Vangirhl thank you for watching! I was really wanting to cook the recipes and film, but it's same old recipes. I will film this Thursday and Friday, so hopefully to post soon.
Any damage or flooding? We are in Ellendale. We had a couple big branches come down, but otherwise good, thank God . Took some donations to church for up towards Asheville, I believe.
@seanvogel8067 the creeks definitely rose, but to my knowledge no flooding in our area. We had several trees down that knocked out power lines. We personally saw the power company put up 3 new power poles. We had large tree limbs fall on the property and our hammock went flying down the mountain. So very blessed! We have been donating food, cleaning supplies and other stuff as well. I'm glad we live where we live because everyone pulls together.
I am watching. Excited for the series.
@justnina8023 thank you. I am too.
GOD BLESS!
@@gailblack6976 thank you.
Glad y'all are ok!
@@Vangirhl thank you so much! It's a very humbling experience. All around us is so much death and destruction. It's absolutely heartbreaking.
@@AppalachianLiving765 I know, It's so tragic and heartbreaking. I'm praying for everyone, especially the kids. I just can't imagine, but God's working through people in amazing ways, so there is hope.

Thank you.
Plenty of food but the prices suck!
@@subzeromjc that's their everyday low prices! No joke.
@@AppalachianLiving765 A couple years ago we went to the store and got whatever we wanted. Now we only get what we need. Not as fun for sure.
Hi AL! Great vlog! So much to see and learn. Canning is such an amazing skill to have and practice. Thanks for sharing. And the new do looks great on you! Have a fantastic week. -M
@Vangirhl thank you so much! You're such a sweetheart. I hope you have a fantastic week too.
Wow!
How unique and beautiful!
@Vangirhl thank you, we thought so too.
Yum! 😋
My kids really liked them, I was surprised.
I got stung twice by one today. I manage to hold on the urge of killing it at first but he decided to sting me a second time. That’s when I was like “Nah you are dead now” and smacked the heck out of it. I thought my leg was going to get swollen but in less than 10 minutes, the burning sensation went away. No redness or pain.
@mariozapata6128 oh my goodness! I can't imagine being stung twice. Once was bad enough. I hope you heal quickly.
Good to see you! What kind of pan is that? I enjoy the recipes... but I have to go with low carbohydrate, so no breadcrumbs or rice. I think the amount of gravy that sticks to the steak will be fine. I just can't drink it like I used to lol
Thank you! The frying pan is by a brand named Ninja. I don't know much about it because it was a Christmas gift. I was very nervous and debated on showing my face. I appreciate the kind words.
Hello my friend. Look Delicious 😋 Thank you for sharing ❤🎉❤🎉❤
@@TríHoàiUSA you're welcome, friend!

You are not ugly. What one person perceives as "unattractive," another person will see you as beautiful. Just because one person said or thinks something about you, that does not mean everyone thinks the same.

@@SuzieQ-lw2kp it's so beautiful and relaxing.
@@AppalachianLiving765 agree I find it so relaxing to watch it in the winter coming down and the birds eating at my bird feeders. I can’t get out to enjoy it anymore so I watch from my bedroom window. @SuzieQ-lw2kp thank you! I love watching Southern Frugal Mama too. She has the best personality. So sweet!
@@AppalachianLiving765 She does and her son's are so respectful. Her Aunt Vickie started a channel it's called Aunt Vickie's Craft Corner she is as sweet as Brooke they look so much alike. Have you ever watched (True Grit Appalachian Ways) , Meagan and Andy I think you would like their channel . I enjoy a lot of channels like yours and theirs. I'm glad I found you on here we need more channels like this that the whole family can watch together. 🙏🏻🕊️🙏🏻
Yes, I watch True Grit too! Megan is so sweet!!! I will have to watch Aunt Vickies craft corner, thank you for letting me know!
Are those all used ???🤣🤣🤣
They are now 😂
Try some "Sting Kill" swabs. You can buy them at any drug store, also tobacco from a cigarette or snuff, wet it a little with some water, roll it in a ball and put it in top of the sting and tape it on there for a hour. It helps. To get rid of the hornet's nest, get a can of Raid wasp killer from dollar general, wait till after dark, grab a flash light, spray the nest hole first a good 8 seconds and take off. They will no longer exist the next morning.
@johndoe3johndoe382 thank you so much!

I tried this the other day, and it was good! I had accidentally bought an extra bag of shredded cheese I needed to use up. For me, it's easier than cheeseburgers.

Actually that is pretty healthy. Cabbage is low carb. And it turns out animal fat is good for you. They've been lying to us for all these years.

Fry Kielbasa, then a little bacon grease, remove meat to the side, and then I add a small onion and cup of water as the water cooks off. My cabbage begins to soften and fry 😋. Don't forget to mix the Kielbasa back in the cabbage . Great with a skillet of cornbread 😋 👌 👍 😀
@@theresaaltongregg4569 when we want to turn this into a main dish, we do kielbasa. It's very good.
