@@SpardaKnightz Funnily enough I was thinking how much better that’d be for us, have it reduce our horse for each person buffed.. Our freedom move speed is fast now too tho tbf, which helps quite a bit. I’m actually quite a fan of these talents but I think the people who like it vs the people who don’t is about 50/50 atm haha, guess we just have to wait and see what happens.. no doubt they’ll change something when the inevitably change Herald to be better than Templar again in like 2 weeks 😂

Yeah unfortunately its just like that. I always just throw in an extra Blade of Justice before Hammer of Light. If you don't like it you could Divine Toll on pull which will bump you up to 5 right away on AoE then you just Execution Sentence + Divine Storm (Back to 2 HP) then Wake, you'll be back to 5 for your Hammer of Light at the risk of wasting 1 HP from Crusading Strikes (Which isn't a big deal at all). Doing it this way however means you sit on your Divine Toll for an extra 7 - 11 seconds due to it not having buff "Catch up" (I don't know what else to call that, but use Wake and then Divine toll first and DT will have 52 second CD rather than its full 60 Seconds) I hope that makes sense. Personally I just prefer my way of doing it, you'll keep your dots rolling high while you're mostly just pressing Divine Storm. It's something to think about I guess, so thank you for your comment!

It's an addon called "Mythic Raid Tools" your raid leader will often add 'notes' to certain encounters, its usually for healer timings etc

It's a custom one someone made in the ElvUI addon, I changed it more to my liking however. My nameplates are stock ElvUI. I think I changed them a little but not a lot. I assume by mobs health being yellow you mean when I'm fighting training dummies? It just means they're neutral enemies and that I have the tag. When it was grey in the next clip it means its someone elses tag, it works a bit weird on dummies EDIT: I just realised what you mean... Sorry, in an ideal world you'd get that yellow line through the most amount of enemies yes, in dungeons though I don't really look, regardless of where you are all the lines will be hitting since they're so clumped up!

You're using it on your opener and you're using it on CD basically, you're never sitting on it if that's what you're asking.

Word of Glory/Eternal Flame for both. You wont ever hard cast Flash of Light while in combat. If you didn't know both spells are one in the same, just depends what hero talent you took, Eternal Flame replaces Word of Glory when you are running Herald of the Sun

@@GameDefault I think the tooltip is still Word of Glory but it’s Eternal flame, only functional difference is the HoT anyway tbf

It's a bit too early to say, I say we should probably wait until its applied in game before making any projections on which hero talent will be the best. Seems every week we're changing hero talent now.. it's getting kind of old :( TLDR: Stay on Herald for now, on reset we'll find out how it's doing vs Templar. I'll keep you posted.

@@711masterp Now that the nerfs have gone through it looks like the two hero talents are a lot closer together now, Templar is simming higher for some people, and herald is simming higher for other people… so use at your own discretion. My take on the matter is this: I’ll be staying Herald, the overall damage loss I think is about 3%, but it’s so much easier to lose damage as Templar than it is as Herald.. Also herald feels better to play personally, I love the free HP spender after wake, also loving the execute window with Blessing of An’she… so, up to you really!

@@WaynoTooyeah, I’ve been trying out in M+ today, feels a lot better with 2 616 tier, it doesn’t feel like it’s a big deal, I’ll be staying herald too

Sure! So the AoE build you'll use out in open world content, dungeons, delves and basically anywhere that has more than one target. The Single Target build is mainly for raids where damage on a single target matters the most. That's basically it, you wont really ever run a single target build out of a raid! @@rauru2841 In combat you first defensive to press would be Shield of Vengeance, basically just a big shield that does damage based on damage absorbed, quite neat. Pressing Divine Protection to mitigate incoming damage is also very important, if you know you're about to take damage use either Shield of Vengeance or Divine Protection. If you need healing press your Word of Glory, at low health levels this is basically a Lay on Hands its nice. In panic situations you press Divine Shield, its 8 seconds of damage immunity. I rarely use Lay on Hands for myself because a Word of Glory is very potent, so use that on an ally who's near death! Hope that answered your question.

@@Wokehigh Hammer of Light is an ability that replaces Wake of Ashes after you press it. I will note that it's currently bugged and we can press it WAY more than we should be able to, so keep in mind that its ONCE after wake of ashes. Occasionally we will get a free one but its not that frequent.

Not really, I use it right after 99% of the time it does the exact same thing! Or well... It's part of our opener anyway, so you hit before and after - I've seen guides say wait till you've got 3 stacks but your opener will be so long, doesn't seem that worth.

in which regards? to single target or aoe, wowhead shoes m+ builds use herald of the sun

@@Fiasco248 Oh they've changed it since last I looked! Templar was better for both sides of content, but it seems herald is better for dungeons now. In some cases it looks like Herald actually beats Templar in Single Target too, I'd suggest simming yourself rigorously at this point, its all moving fast! And I just looked in the discord and they actually changed it a few days ago I guess I missed it, derp. Thanks for the heads up. New video soon!

@@WaynoToo thanks for the reply. A lot of good info out there leading into season 1 but icy, wowhead, and creators on UA-cam seem to be split on m+. I wonder if there is a clear cut better hero tree or if it’s just personal preference

@@Fiasco248 I think for the time being it depends on people’s gear/stats. But I do think eventually Herald wins out overall now. Still lots more tuning to come I’d imagine

@@WaynoToo just switched to herald. Seems really solid. Aoe pulls is priority to hit 2 separate targets with Templar or spam divine storm. Not sure what the dmg looks like beyond 5 targets if you use divine storm but I’m assuming you get a fresh 5 targets for a total of 10 if you Templar 2 separate targets right ?
