CrossFit Hero #wod Bowen
3 Rounds For Time
800 meter Run
7 Deadlifts (275/185 lb)
10 Burpee Pull-Ups
14 Single Arm Kettlebell Thrusters (1.5/1 pood)
20 Box Jumps (24/20 in)
For the kettlebell thrusters, do 7 per arm (14 total) per round.
Time: 21:18
Ran well but stayed super consistent once I got into the garage. Think the difference in each round was simply a slower pace on the 800. Happy to keep the deadlift to sets of 4-3, even with a little longer break between. Knew the burpee pull-ups were just a roadblock but the single arm thrusters were an off balance movement that I haven’t practiced a ton. Kept those unbroken. Box jumps got painful and probably a tad slower than anticipated. Kept moving so easily beat my goal. Give this one a go!

Score: 104 cals New to me so everything felt rough and wasn’t sure how to pace anything. Either way just gave what I could and just managed to get my goal. Not sure if pacing better would have paid off, was at 60 through 2 minutes, extremely fell off and hit 20 cals minute 3 and then finished with 24 the final minute. Give this one a go!

@@MeltProgramming haven’t been so wrong on a time estimate in a long time. The bench press fatigue made the first 6 rounds almost the same time despite the decreasing rep scheme

Sehr schönes WoD für zu Hause Ich werde Radln anstatt Rudern. Und Jumping Jacks anstatt Double under. Bin gespannt wieviele Runden ich schaffe. Hast ja sehr gut vorgelegt. Ich werde keine 7Runden schaffen, glaube ich.
I barely got into round 7, would have needed an extra 2-3 minutes to finish it. I like those changes, jumping jacks might take longer than double unders but might be a little easier on the shoulders.

Diese Workouts von dir mache Fast immer indoor, ich radl aber auch draußen mit Rennrad oder Gravelbike. Zur Zeit ist ist hier -3 Grad. Deshalb mache ich meistens Sport drinnen. Nehme gerne deine Workouts als Beispiel. Oft verbunden mit draußen laufen.😀 . Auch wenn ich joggen nicht mag.

@@maxe7056 Man some of these are absolute burners. I did the "Dead Meat" workout from Dec 4th and that was killer. Finished in 27:28 which I felt good about. Hardest one was "Miron" workout from 9/8. Man that one crushed me. Would love to see you try is this EMOM. 14 minute EMOM- 7 pullups, 7 hanging leg raises, 7 MB slam. I can get to about 10 minutes and then I just fall off and get behind.
@ that sounds like a terrible workout. The pull-ups would absolutely be the limiter for me there. Miron was rough but I’m a smaller dude so made it easier since the weights were Bodyweight dependent

Hey. Bin gerade fertig geworden. Fast 30min 😢 . Keine Double unter. Vorher 60min Spinningrad, dann 50 Backsquats (20kg Sandbag) 50 DB Snatch (12,5kg) 50 Push Press ( auch 12,5kg DB) insgesamt!!! Dann 4min Spinningrad. Boa😮😮 war das hart. Hatte einen Puls von 195 Hab viel Pause gemacht. Hatte gestern schon ein hartes Workout in der Crossfit Box Crefeld. Da lief auch ein kleines Kind rum.
