All my videos are unedited. I use my cell phone and hit record. They all are on the vehicles I own. I usually only work on them on weekends and most of the time I don't record what I am doing. Thanks for watching.
Installing the plow on my 81 Chevy K20.
Installed the plow on the 81 Chevy K20. Find out its low on fluid so it doesn't turn left or right. Phone fell on the ground and the shut off while adding fluid.

Good old q jet love it I hope that is what stays on it
Yes it will stay.
Did you say sketchy ?
Surprisingly it went ok, beside for dropping quickly the one time and hitting the master cylinder.
I love these Cutlass'. Glad to see one being saved and loved
@@pappytinkers I've had 3 of g bodies. Also had a 83 Grand Prix and a 87 Buick Turbo Regal that I regret selling.
@@NoNameGaragejg We all have a few that we regret selling. A certain 68 cutlasa comes to mind..
Make sure you chase the threads for the head bolts . What the gasket can never over hang . And no they don't . Never i mean never should the head gasket be in the combustion chamber
That is ring wash
Where's my red stapler.
Slick car
Así me gusta... rústica 💪... demasiado rústica verdad?🤔😁
Don't have to worry about scratches or dents.😂
It's worth fixing head gasket replacement easy
It will get fixed. The block needs to be decked and the heads need to be machined flat.
You must find and correct the cause of the head gasket failure or a repeat failure is likely to happen.
@@jondoes7836 the deck surface and the head surface are low in the middle between each cylinder.
Bad luck , compression test first dry then wet or go ahead waste your time
@@johnkelly8525 there was water in the # 4 cylinder and intake port, I pulled the head and the fire ring was pulled away from the gasket.
Nice to see an update. Looks just like my old pickup, all different colors
@@bobmcdougall5904 thanks.
Next summer I paint it. When I don't need it for plowing snow.
Still very cool 60 years later
nice GTO! enjoy it. I've own my 69 GTO for 49 years now, since 1975 but, have not driven it in a long time. Have other Pontiacs in my collection. love your car. Mine was also Limlight green with green int. Best to you with yours!
@@69Applekrate thanks , good luck and enjoy them.
Had a 78 Cutlass years ago with the 260 V8 engine. It was the slowest car I’ve ever had. I replaced that engine with a high compression 350 from a 68 Cutlass. Car would smoke the right rear tire for a block. Eventually shredded the THM 200 transmission. Then the rear end broke. Sold it and purchased a new Mustang GT.
@@jondoes7836 my first car was a 76 Pontiac Ventura with a 260 V8, so I know what your talking about.
The Pontiac steering wheel and tag got me 😂😂
@@hippiemiller That's the original steering wheel for my 69 GTO.
Nice collection 👍👍 I got 84 cutlass SBC 1/8 car
@@hippiemiller thanks, your car sounds nice.
Cutlass
Buy a Ford they sound better heard one Chevy heard them all
Cool cutlass. I have a 79 I turned into a 78. Black on black 454 and 12 bolt rear. Aluminum core support and hood. They make nice hot rods
@@darrelsundling5503 sounds like fun, this one originally had an aluminum hood .
Nice Cutlass 👍
@@drivingdaily582 Thanks.
I don't think that I would have cut off the coil spring section? Even though they are s little bit thicker than the original one? That would help you with the extra weight from the big engine and stability of the drive, especially on corners? Yes it might have raised the front end up a little bit?
It's not driven on the street, drag car only.
G body boogie 😂
It's a fun ride, especially on a no prep surface.
@pontiac6978 I know, I built a 455 out of a 4 door and put it in a 2 door. Twin turbo 😁. Twisted the unit body every time 😭
I’m thinking about doing the same thing on my square body but have a couple questions, if you can give me answers. What psi is the fuel pump running, did you have to change the fuel system, and did this improve mpg or hp?
I have an in tank electric pump and sending unit from a 87 Buick GN turbo V6. I have it regulated down to 8 to 9 psi. The fuel line is 1/2 inch push loc hose(feed and return). I did this because it is cheaper then race gas.
Awesome work
He'll ya it a Chevy it will start
you need to get help that looks bad
It's platted on the inside, braced on the outside and weld back together.
This modification separates Fabricators from hacks !
😂
Not sure how compromising the integrity of the frame to add bigger tires, when bigger tires means ur making to much power for the tires u have, is a good idea. More power less structure?
Will be adding some 1/8 plate on the inside of the rail before welding the outer rail back on. Also braced between the drivers and passenger side frame rails.
This Separates Fabricators from hacks !
Man that's sweet
Thanks
Cool ol cuddy have a 79
Thanks
Helpful video. You should look into using a service such as Promo`SM!!
I want to do this one day. My father has a 78 Ford F-350 dually he used for work for the longest time now it just sits one day I’m going to convince him to let me have it and I want to make it 4x4 and it’s going to look badass with the custom flat bed and winch it has on it
Hey man, nice work keep posting videos. I want to do the same conversion to my truck
Thanks, I'll make some more, might be a while.
I want to do this exact project with my 82 C20 convert to K20 only difference i can see is mine is a manual so ill have to research what else ill need. Still trying to find a front axle in my area to begin the conversion
The best way is to find rusty or wrecked K20 so you get every thing you need. I bought a 79 Chevy K20 that the whole body including the frame was rusted out. I got the turbo 400 trans, 203 transfer case both drive shafts and any other parts needed. I all ready had the 14 bolt full floater, matching dana 44 front axle and 4x4 spring purchase off a another frame that was bent.
Did you have to remove the engine to install the new front axle?
No, but had to support it with my engine hoist when I removed the 2 wd cross member and suspension.
I am doing this exact thing with my 79 C20, but was going to use the 205 t-case instead of a 203. Any benefits to the 203?
No the 205 is stronger. The parts truck I bought had a 203 and turbo 400 trans so that's what I went with.
Love that sound! I miss it from my 1974 Trans Am 400 4sp. I still get to hear it from my 1969 GTO 400 though. I have the exact same car in my garage right now. It originally came with the Lime Light Green but the person I purchased it from changed it to black. Now you need to take us on a ride along with a camera. Thanks for sharing, THUMBS UP! Best Wishes and Blessings. Keith Noneya
Thanks, I have 1 minute video of when I was driving home from work Thursday.
@@NoNameGaragejg couldn't find it. What's the title?
@@keithnoneya I am getting ready to post it pretty soon. 1 minute drive along in my 1969 GTO.
Hows the project comeing along? Doing something similar myself
Still have to change the rear leaf spring hangers to the 4x4 ones. Plan on doing that when I know it's not going to snow anymore. Have to pull the box back off and drop the gas tank. Will also be replacing the drivers side rocker panel and cab corner. I got to use it to plow snow twice this winter. I can say it is an experience, a parts truck with every thing you need helps.
Love the sound and the state your in. Cheers
